As soon as we got over the Hoover dam, I saw lake mead and a sign to
the beach. It was so hot and the water looked so pretty blue.
(e:terry) reluctantly drove down there as he hates sunshine. I popped
our of the car and ran right into the water. It was so nice. No
getting used to cold, no nasty smell or green funk, or foam, or
debris. No dead fish or fish smell.
The air felt hot like a hair dryer. It was the best swimming moment I
ever had. Then five minutes later it was over as they were already
waiting in the car for me because it was too hot out. I wish
(e:mike)
was here to be my beach buddy.
Speaking of which I am now in vegas for four days and I'm not so much
into gambling. Anyone has any other good suggestions.
Hahah.. It's the high-shoe-throw. You and your cronies take turns at throwing shoes higher and higher. The one with the highest throws in around 10 throws (or more) wins. I was in innumerable high-shoe-throw-contests from 3rd grade through final year med school. Ah. Good times!
