YAAAAAAYYYY!!! Keep it up!!!!!
Congrats! Now I don't have to annoy you with my incessant pleas to stop smoking.

Good to know about the cold, Libertad.
It hit me Saturday night actually, and I still can't shake it. Feel pretty groggy today.
Best of luck to you, and congratulations on making it 7 days. Getting through the first week is always the hardest, hopefully it will get a little easier soon.
Yay!! Your cold may not be so unrelated to quitting. I find when I follow up with people at the Quitline they do seem to get colds a lot. I really think that your immune system may go down for a very brief period after quitting because you are fighting so hard not to smoke along with the stress of withdrawal (physical and emotional). No need to worry though because again it is very temporary and your immune system will be much stronger now and you will be less likely to get colds and other illnesses in the future. All that being said it does seem like maybe something might be going around. All of this damp coldness can't be helping!
Congrats on week one, and you might be right about the dearth of summer.
