Lilho with bandwidth leprosy
Category: peeptalk
(e:lilho)'s beauty melted away when I saw he teeth melting out of her head and her lips falling off. It is so freaky to see your friend breaking up into a million pixels.

it started around her lips getting all droopy and her teeth falling out.
image

Then she got full blown bandwidth leprosy.

At Mike Visco and Terry Mickelson's Bday
Category: birthdays
I didn't take so many pictures at the party yesterday because I knew (e:jim,40889) and (e:metalpeter,40890) each were taking hundreds. Needless to say, the event proved to be a success. We even managed to give away like 20 of the porn magazines (e:paul,40612)

Even (e:lilho) was able to attend the event via video chat, where she and Nameless Bitch discussed her many Craig's List conquests.

::Download Flash Video::

Namless Bitch managed to spill beer all over the house. I am glad she lives somewhere else now, lol.

Thanks Namless Bitch for spilling a 40 into my couch. Next time you can only have a sippy cup like the kids.

Missing Image ;(

(e:mike) got a hicky from this girl.
image

He also managed to do a live porn magazine reading

::Download Flash Video::

We took good ole jim up on the roof to party. Not (e:jim) but Jim Beam. There is nothing like having drunk people 4 stories up on you 2 story roof.
image

When we were shopping earlier for the party I saw these new 3D gummi candies. I just don't get it. Has anyone even sen a 2D or 1D gummi candy. Now that would be radical.
image

I saw this kids cartoon that looked like me if I was a cartoon and hadn't shaved my head.
image

These flowers at Wegmans are a little over the top in the color department.

jenks - 09/03/07 09:57
hey paul, some reason videos seem to be freezing about 5 seconds in... Hmm...
brit - 09/02/07 14:46
jaysus! I thought I only spilled a little, I guess my sense of proportion was all fucked up...sorry
metalpeter - 09/02/07 14:43
At one of these parties I need to make it up on the roof, don't think I would want to be up and drinking though. I didn't see the hicky but I did hear about it. If that is who I think she is she was kinda cute (bad wording I know) In terms of you taking pictures I'm not sure who else took them but I know I like to see other peoples views so I'm glad you still took pictures.

The Viking Lobster Company
Category: food
For (e:mike) 's birthday dinner last night we went to The Viking Lobster Company which he refers to here (e:mike,40877)

This is what it looks like from the outside
image

And here is their menu
image

It was really hard to decide what to eat. Last night The Viking Lobster Company had a lobster bake special which was corn on the cob, clams, mussels and a 1 1/4 lb lobster for $29. My mom, (e:matthew) and I got that. (e:terry) got fish fry, my brother got steak and shrimp and my dad got baked fish.

The food was delicious, including the clam chowder and The Viking Lobster Company clam infused house salad dressing I had on the house salad.

Here is a pic of the special with flash and without. I couldn't decide which one to post because the flash one had richer colors but the lobster was hidden. So you get to see both.
image
image

My only complaint was that it was not as piping hot as I would have liked. My fries were kind of cold. Other than that it was totally awesome.

Afterwards, we went to my mothers for dessert and to open gifts.

image

My mother is obsessed with her lamination machine. Every cake has custom laminations these days.
image

(e:matthew) even got a gluten free treat
image

Here is (e:mike) vigorously cutting the cake.

Chinese Toy Recall Continues
Category: conspiracy
Okay, I know this put it out at a total conspiracy theory freak level but what if China knew that all those toys contained lead and was trying to retard our youth. I mean how do you not know that 9 million toys were contaminated with lead.

I just saw this latest one today.

The recall involves the "Imaginarium" brand 213 Piece Wooden Coloring Case which includes crayons, pastels, colored pencils, fiber pens, paintbrush, pencil, water colors, palette, white paint, ruler and pencil sharpener in a light tan wooden carrying case that measures about 14 inches by 19 inches.
image

metalpeter - 09/02/07 10:53
These recalls are a great example of why anyone with a degree in business should also be forced to minor or at least take 3 ethics courses. Yes what is ethical isn't an easy choice sometimes. One could argue that the jobs are good for china when they are making things for Americans. But by doing that then aren't we also saying that is ok for them to get shit pay so we just make things worse over there. Yes some companies like fisher price have this entire process that things are checked and rechecked before they hit the market place. But instead of putting greed and profit before the American people why not just use US workers and goods instead of having people from another country do it. If every company sends there jobs to another country then no one will be able to buy what people are selling cause there won't be any jobs that is one of the reasons our economy is on the way down currently. If you want to speak of conspiracies lets take it up another level "Rich Corporate America" Doesn't care about the poor or at least the middle income so as a way to keep the power they shift those jobs to other countries then if the toys or other things their kids don't use anyways have lead in them who cares cause it will only dumb up the kids at the lower income levels.

Panaro's On Deleware Near Allen
Category: food
Panaro's on Delaware is my very favorite lunch restaurant in the city right now. I love that place. The food and the service is so great and the prices are reasonable. I would suggest it to anyone. They have the menu online too

Panaro's
571 Delaware Avenue
Buffalo, NY 14202
(716) 884-1033

image

Today I had Panaro's bracciole, it was so yummy. The meat was the perfect amount a flaky and the stuffing was delicious. I normally don't even like Italian food out, but their food tastes like home cooked.

Here is a bracciole recipe I think I can find out a family one from my mom and get back to you.

The blond waitress is my favorite in the whole city and considering I eat out at least one meal a day, that is a serious compliment. This picture of her is stolen from the Panaro's site.

image

On the other side of the food world, I bought these organic table crackers at wegmans.

image

They turned out to be a little extra broken, which is weird considering the box was unharmed. Do you think the machine mashed them up on the way in the plastic? They still tasted fine as a powder.

metalpeter - 08/31/07 17:23
I have never been there but she is smoking hot and she looks like she might know how to cook to. Yeah she is hot I wonder if that is her natural hair color not that it matters but she is a cuttie pie.
jbeatty - 08/31/07 13:38
Man and to think I almost went there for lunch today. I guess I will have to make a stop there next week.
hodown - 08/31/07 10:46
OMG- that waitress is on the matchmaker show about Buffalo. She lives at home and cant find a boyfriend because she acts 12 and is really in her mid 30s. Small world..
tinypliny - 08/31/07 01:42
And that was the first restaurant I ate at when I came apartment hunting in Buffalo. Part of the reason why I fell in love with the place. :)
tinypliny - 08/31/07 01:38
!!!! I LOVE THAT WAITRESS AT PANAROS!!!! She is so awesome - I have been at that restaurant many many times now and she has waited on my table every single time. She remembers me everytime and is so sweet to me. :))

And I think they have the ***BEST PIZZA*** I have ever had anywhere and probably in the world!!

That's it. I am going there for lunch tomorrow.
