Batteries, batteries, batteries
Why is it that we have become so lazy that we need power toilet bowl brushes and power tooth brushes and power dish brushes. The fact that people are lazy about things doesn't bother me as much as the fact that we don't even bother to think what happens to the batteries after they are dead and we throw them in the garbage. out of sight, out of mind? The batteries obviously leak eventually, and spill their caustic chemicals. a lot of batteries still today have lead in them which causes brain damage in young children. the lead is carried to the water table where it contaminates our water supply. can we recycle batteries? i think it is a good idea. you can probably save them and take them to a recycling plant. or maybe just ship them back to duracell. they might appreciate it
maybe not.
ps. todays weather sucks and is depressing to me

What a dork
My father needs to stop going down to the studio and playing the same tired beatles songs. Dont get me wrong, i like the beatles and all but good lord how many times do you need to play the same song before youre satisfied? i wouldnt be so annoyed at him if he wasnt so damn inconsiderate, either.
sometimes he comes downstairs during practice and sits down and just starts playing a beatles song as if we are going to be all gung ho about playing the same stupid beatles song we have played to placate him a thousand times over. arrghhh
there are much better things to complain about...

success
There's a malignant quality to it -a dark force devouring everything in its path. It's an expression of that desperate urge to be somebody at any cost, even if it means being preyed on and sucked dry by every scheming parasite in the world. You find examples of this in the music industry and the porn industry but it could just as easily relate to the way the extreme right seduce young people to enlist in their ranks. Fascism starts with the embittered 50 year old sado-masochist who finds dysfunctional teenagers who he then works on for a couple of years until they become transformed into homicidal little skinhead motherf*ckers.

2 am and all's well...or so some might say. I sayz that twas a successful day, one for the record books. got a direction...now we have an idea of where we want to go. being in limbo is the beez neez but figuring things out can be just as satisfying. lots of sharing and talking was had today, and a lot of things straightened out. i wish to make kucinich for president t-shirts and perhaps you will be seeing me in some. i wish to wager that i would be much happier if that man got his way. but then, some man in tennesee would likely be pissed. can't pleez everyone.

Research studies have shown that at 1 day old, infant girls stare at human faces longer than mechanical objects while the opposite is true for boys the same age.

It really pisses me off...
that Bush thinks he can hold these dinners and fundraisers and dress in a penguin suit and tell these self-deprecating jokes and put that stupid smirk on his face as though he is being cute or something. How dare he make jokes about his abominable behavior as of late..."Blah blah blah Dick (Veep) and I decided that we are going to hold joint press conferences from now on" ...trying to make a joke about that little bother in his day that we call a 9/11 commision, not that the whole comission isn't a joke. Oh, frusteration...

Oh! the humanity
I am starting to have dreams about getting my letter in the mail. Last night was terrible because it seemed so real. I am starting to get frusterated with those boneheads over at UB, why can't they hurry up? Ah well, what can i do but make sauce today, yes today is spaghetti day and that should distract me for a bit.

more dreams
i went and spent 1700 dollars on a lottery ticket. but, as the employee was ringing me up, i changed my mind because i figured out that i really didn't want to spend all that money on a lottery ticket. I think i was at a supermarket, but it was a small one, not as nice as the best supermarket in the world, it was quaint and old fashioned. then somehow, i was in a classroom and i had to take the sat's, but i had been thrown into the room, and the booklet was really confusing and it said that the average score is 1485 which i know it isn't because that is really high. i couldn't figure out which section to take so i kept calling collin quin (who was proctoring the exam, of course) but he refused to come over, probably because a few minutes later, he started hosting snl, which was going on apparently, while we were taking the sat's, which was a classroom that turned into the set of snl. I think i also dreamt is was snowing. I can't be sure.
No letter yet. This is getting out of hand
