Why don't computers behave more? You would think, that since I still have the ability to smash is in to bits and pieces that it would go out of its way to please me, but it doesn't. One might assume (and this is quite the assumption) that since they are smart enough to do complex mathematics and turn on lights in your house over the internet, it would have at least a teeny, tiny sense of self preservation, which would lead it to NOT want to be smashed into pieces. But it does not seem to care either way.

Actually come to think about it, computers having a sense of self preservation would be really bad. But moreover, it would require some sort of AI. But even still moreover, it would require self-awareness, and is that not what some people would consider separates us humans from everything else?

Either way, sometimes you just want to beat your computing machine into pieces.

Well, first I want to start off and tell people that joy division and most other late 70's post punk factory records-ish music is clutch.

Next, I need to express my delight in watching ladies tennis which was on tv today.

And I knew it...dating services on the web have reached an all time high. Case in point - Ashleymadison.com. "Studies have shown that infidelity is on the rise. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Probably neither" goes the commercial. Its a dating service for married people...They provide discreet meet-ups for all of you folks bound by that little nuisance called a spouse. I don't want to mock web dating services, but to me its almost like going to bestbuy.com or something and picking out yourself a new and fun PDA. Ah well, I guess I have not tried one so i really truly don't know.

Your friendly neighborhood pharmacy

I find something mildly funny in the fact that the junkies that come in to buy needles are by far the nicest people that I have to deal with in the course of my day.

Old ladies are the absolute worst.

The junkies are always in a hurry and sometimes I would just like to follow them around to see what they are up to, it could be kinda fun but would probably end up being a disappointment.
