Hello! Dave had a very good point in accordance to my post about laziness! I guess I'm just not ready to stop being lazy yet! I wish I was, because it's getting me into trouble, although, this past weekend I decided NOT to procrastinate and I stayed in until most of my work for this week was finished! I felt very successful and proud of myself. I'm going to have to try that again this weekend and see how it goes, so i guess my laziness is slowly but surely fading away!

I was reading a few passages about war for my Writing class, and then we had to response to a few questions in terms of the passages, one was something along the lines of, "Did you learn something about war?" and the other was something like, "Do you think it would be beneficial for politicians to read these?" And I realized that I don't even know what a politician IS, let alone do i know if they should read the passages?! I hate news, I have government and I hate history. I guess that's probably a bad thing, I'm definitely going to fall behind on my current events, but I just have absolutely not interest in any of these things what-so-ever! I didn't vote because I just couldn't bring myself to care enough about it. Plenty of people have tried to get me to change my views, watch the news or read the paper, but I'm just not into it at all! I didn't even know about that Tsunami thing until like two weeks after! And I still don't really even know what happened, I just know that somewhere, a lot of people are suffering because of it. And don't get me wrong, I totally feel for them, and it's not like I'm trying to AVOID knowing about any of it, I just won't go out of my way to find out. If someone brings it up to me I'll listen, but I usually won't comment on it or anything. I feel like I sound like an extremely selfish person, and I'm sorry if I do, but I'm really not at all!!! I care a lot about like the starving children in Africa and those poor people in Afghanistan (I THINK that's where it is... oops... that's really bad...) that have no say at all in most of their lives, I just am completely uninterested in the news! And I don't really think that is something I can just change about myself either. I also think that could be why some of my art work isn't as strong as it could be? Because a lot of artists have very strong political views, one way or another, and if I was going to do a piece making some kind of political statement... of ANY sort... I wouldn't even know where to start?!

On a less political note, I watched an AWESOME movie last night, I'm sure someone has heard of it. It's called "Breakin" from like 1984 or something. Me and two of my girlfriends have a strange obsession with attempting to break dance, and this movie was incredible! the acting was horrible which just made it even better because there was something to laugh at! I highly recommend it to anyone who has a fascination with break dancing, doing the robot or cheesy 80's flicks with lots of spandex and cut off shirts! However, if you can't find humor in bad acting, this movie probably isn't for you!

Procrastination

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to NOT procrastinate, because I really can't seem to get the hang of it !! Like today for instance... I had a paper due yesterday that I didn't do... and I should be doing it RIGHT NOW! I have nothing else to do at this point in time, but I just can't bring myself to write this paper! And it's not even like I'm totally uninterested in it or anything, I just won't do it! I save everything possible to the very last minute . My laziness is so overwhelming that it's becoming completely rediculous! If anyone has any suggestions... ANYTHING AT ALL ... please let me know!! I'm desperate!

Newbie

Hello! I don't really know how to use this thing, it's a requirement for a class. I saw a demonstration of it but there was so much going on that I didn't catch it all! I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. Hey Jenn if you're around there somewhere I just wanted to tell you that I've caught you a delicious bass. If anyone can give me some nifty tips and/or fun stuff to do on here- please do!!
