hello, I'm new to this site, but I've been a local to the Elmwood strip for 15 years. I was invited to join the site many years ago, when it was first starting, but didn't have the time to take part. Now that I do, I have decided to do a little shameless self-promoting. I would of course like to keep in touch with what's going on in the neighborhood too: )

Onto my shameless plug:new I started a new website venture only three short months ago. It is a local site created by a local artist (me) for local artists. Currently, I have 6 artists including myself, and will be adding 3 others within the next two weeks. Mediums range from photography, painting, drawing, digital art, music etc. I am looking to add some poetry/short stories. So I hope you'll have a look: www.MINDWEB.us.

If you think you'd like to become a part of it, please submit some samples of your work. this is a great forum for under acknowledged and emerging artists in the bUffalo area. At the very least I hope you have a look, and I would love to hear your feedback.

I am currently also seeking to trade links and to garner advertising dollars. If anyone is interested, my rates and benefits are listed on the site.
