Cool, my friend Jen used to work at Carriage Trade. I love their white chocolate/apricot scones. mm. They also did my wedding cake. Mmmm. Carriage Trade used to be next to Pano's but they moved up to that new location. Here's a picture, I left the date on there because its the most wrong it could be. Wrong day and year! Mom could have fixed the date, ya know?

holy cow! i just looked at the prices for highlights and its 80+.

that is at ExcuriaSpa. Who knows a good hairstylist who does highlights cheaper????holy cow. i'm glad i didn't make an appt. first!

i wish for a fish

seeing all the med students hanging out on south campus in their scrubs makes me jealous. i wish i could wear scrubs every day, they look so comfy and you don't have to care about what to wear. plus they come in all different colors: purple, dark green, blue and statue of liberty green. i'm lucky i did laundry yesterday so i have something to wear. going to catholic school was so appealing to me when i was younger because i got to wear uniforms. how sad, that's how much i hate shopping and how much i don't know about looking cool. that reminds me, i need to stop in at the salvation army soon.

i am also thinking of getting highlights professionally done as well as a cut. its been over a year since i got a real haircut. i used to go every two months. is it because i'm cheap now that i don't go?? i was trying to let derek style my front but he lost his brain and cut a lot off of the front of the hair. now i have to wear it back all the time. ..... i think i'll make an appt. today. why does it cost so much?? i bet it would be close to 80$ not incl. tip. 8*

did you ever have a super annoying person in your class? they ask questions that have obvious answers as if she's making sure other people 'get it', answers questions as if she knows more than the professor, etc....?

so tired

it took me 16 minutes to get to south campus today. i thought that was pretty fantastic. on the other hand, i don't know my way around there at all and spent 20 minutes trying to park. good thing i left early.

i only had one class today and at 11am. i can't understand why i am sooo tired. tomorrow is one class after another from 8am to 2pm. at least all of my classes are on the same campus and i don't have to drive around. now i just have to learn my way around.

it was so weird to be in a classroom again. i felt so old although most of my classmates are only 1 or 2 yrs younger than me. i haven't been in a classroom in over a year. my last classes were all on location at elementary schools and i didn't have to deal with parking. plus i had made friends. now i know noone. :( hopefully i'll lose the 5 pounds i gained by walking around campus. ;)

i think this speech pathology major will be a good thing. everything sounds so interesting. i learn about phonetics, anatomy, math, physics and science. its a little of everything, not too much of one thing.

i shudder at the thought of having to get up at 6am tomorrow. god help me.

ack!

ok. i am thoroughly freaked out. there must be fighter jet practice or something. there are these planes that are flying SOOOOOoooo low and sound like they might crash into the house at any moment. its soo loud and scary. now i am going to try to find out through the 'net if anything is going on.

i hear another plane, i hope its just a normal one this time. 8*

and its ironic that i happen to be searching for airline tickets at the time of this.

update : there is an air show in niagara falls the 28th and 29th. it actually looks like fun. anyways, they must be practicing or someeeething. ;)

an apple a day..........

i need help. i have yet to find myself a real OB/GYN. The school nurses don't cut it anymore and I have insurance so why not go to a reallll doctor?? There are many many of you who are indiginous to this place and have real doctors so help me out. I already picked a general doctor by randomization and he turned out to be a strange, strange man.

soooo ladies--- email me! click on "email lisa" and email me names of doctors you know, love and trust. you can remain anonymous or not I don't care I just need some names to work with. I prefer the north towns so I don't have to drive far.

Please help!
