I am not much of a writer. That's why, armed with my Bachelor's English Degree, I went for my Masters in Library Science. Now I'm a Librarian with a Computer Lab Support Guy job.

Just when I was thinking of taking the money I've saved up to go out to look for a Librarian Job, it seems that there might not be any libraries in Buffalo to work for. I knew it was bad with the budget cuts, but the fact that EVERY PUBLIC LIBRARY in the Buffalo & Erie County. Its hard for me to believe at the moment...

Now after that "Election", I'm not even sure of what to do. Among the librarian community I keep hearing "Send letters to your representatives, raise funds, etc., etc." but does anyone even care if these libraries shutdown aside from librarians? Not enough people cared enough in the first place, that it has gotten this bad...

• sigh*

Here's to hoping our library cards don't become useless pieces of plastic.
