Trip To Windmill PointCategory: swimming
After a day of non-stop gardening we biked to Canada for some swimming, then swam across the freezing quary twice before heading back to the states. The peace bridge is under construction now so you travel on the Canadian sidewalk going both ways.
Its awesome to just be able to skip all the cars going into Canada.

Yum Tuna SaladCategory: food
I had the best tuna salad this morning. I bought a huge chunk of tuna at thr coop and chopped it up into salad. It must have been okay to eat it raw like the sign said, because it was like 10 hours ago and I'm not dead yet.

Its worth it. I'd rather die than not eat seafood. I already went and had my doctor run hair and blood mercury tests and they didn't find anything. Despite me eating it often. That whole thing is only 0.3 lbs. I also mostly choose from low mercury fish despite the occasional tuna here and there. My favorite of all fish are the smaller greasy ones is Mackerel and Anchioves.

I feel like I should tell you to go easy on seafood. You never know. It may not be 10 hours, but it could be 10 years before things surface.

She looks like that actress from the disney movie - dammit now I can't remember the name of the actress or the movie. Its set in NYC and has people coming to life from the story book or something.

Basra The Tortoise In A TankCategory: pets
So the tortoise has taken to dragging the canoe around the backyard as a sort of tank weapon. It really allows him to destroy just about anything. I find it so funny that a beast that already had a shell on his body now is driven to drag around a much heavier shell. He is so strong bow that I literally sat Indian style on his shell the other day and he dragged me around.
Damn, Canada. Near and yet so far.
