This morning I headed down to the conference to complete my registration. I really wanted to attend three sessions but it turned out today is "pre-conference" and the all day tracks cost extra money. One was on medical device security, one on mobile EHR and one on agile project mgmt. Sadly, each of those was from a different track so it would have been like $395 x 3. I wasn't going to pay and honestly even if work world have it is a waste of resources for what it was.

I can't wait for it to actually get started. I wish Patrick could have been here with me. I think I would have gotten more out of it having someone else to discuss with. We probably could have cured cancer with that much concentrated brainstorming time.

I'm done for the day now. Off to the beach.

I know its so blah blah but I want whole foods by us so bad. They even have a plum and quince paste. I literally ate a 2.1 trough of food. oink. Off to the beach to show off my belly.

We visited some beaches today. Daytona beach seemed so ghetto. I'd have to see it during spring break to really know. On the other hand, Cocoa Beach at Cape Canaveral was amazing. I wish it wasn't 25 centers per 8 minutes to park. We are going to have to get a day pass to the park and go back.

It was cool seeing the lake frozen over from the sky.

Oh man the food at the West Side Bazaar was so good. My favorite was the baklava from the coffee stand lady. They were only one dollar a piece and tasted so good. They have food stands from several different countries. Its the perfect place to have a mix and match lunch.

I got the Ethiopian lamb which was very chopped bone in the style of the former
goat curry at Palm Tree that used to be on Allen.

I also bought a cute owl change purse for my gift horde. Its just crap I collect for when their is an emergency gift requirement and no time to shop.
