Expensive Horn
Category: pets

Why does horn cost so much? Seems like it would be a plentiful commodity ina meat heavy society.

Shuck Raw Bar and Ale in Knoxville
Category: food

(e:yesthatcasey) and I visited Shuck Raw Raw Bar and Ale in Knoxville for dinner tonight. It was one of the tastiest raw bars I've ever been to and you guys know just how often I eat raw seafood.

It was refreshing to go to a non asian themed raw bar. I started with 6 oysters on the half shell and moved onto softshell crab and Citrus tuna crudo.

I also helped that the server was so freakin hot but sadly finished his shift part way through our meal.

If they had one of these places in Buffalo I would be there every week.

Thanks for posting the Tennessee theatre. When i lived there, it was a big restoration project that was near done or just barely done.

Wow... Gay Street has a raw bar... wonders never cease....

Tennesee Camping
Category: camping
On the way here the weather was amazing. Once we got here it changed to cold, rainy and windy. We ended up still going hiking.

The ground is made up of light brown clay shale and tons of rocks. I can imagine trying to farm on itm. Nothing like the amazing fertile top soil we have back home.

Our cabin is in the middle of the forest at the top of a mountain. From the hiking trail you could see the larger cabins at the main resort. I tried to get a pic but the camera kept focusing on the trees.

I had no idea before but we are in the same town as Dolly Parton.

Go to Gatlinburg... there's a great lil pancake place that has cool/yummy sandwiches for lunch. The Ripley's Aquarium is pricey, but nice, we used to be members when it first opened. Uber Gatlinburg is nice, even without snow....

We are in Pigeon Forge on the top of the mountain at trappers ridge road. Any suggestions on what to do?
leetee - 12/20/12 20:14
Are you in Gatlinburg? Or Sevierville? Doesn't look like Pigeon Forge.... We used to live around the corner from there, just down Chapman Highway. Or, "down the road a piece"

Wow, that cabin looks so nice. I bet even Mike would like it. Take more pictures, I want to see the bed.

Buffalo Reuse Trip
Category: recycling
So on the trip down to Buffalo Reuse to drop off the electronics I decided to stop inside and check out their new digs. (e:terry) wouldnt let me bring our old toilet because he said it was junk but they had 100s of them. The place has lots of great stuff and then a hodge podge of pure junk.

It seems like they are going to have to have some rules about what they take at some point or they will get overun with crap.

Like who is going to want the piece of broken plywood in the picture below?
