I decided to spend a little non-programming time addressing the issue of me becoming an official Italian. I thought I qualify for it, sadly I now don't think

If you are an american and had italian parents, grandparent or even great grandparents you may qualify. I don't unfortunately because all of my ancestors effectively renounced their right to citizenship when their parents were naturalized and they were under 18. Seems unfair as a child cannot really make such decisions, but that's how the dice roll. If only my mother was born here and my grandparents waited until after she was 18 to become citizens.

A. Yes. If your parent/grandparent/great grandparent was naturalized as a minor, he or she effectively renounced his or her right to Italian citizenship. This means that your ancestor was unable to pass Italian citizenship jure sanguinis to his or her children as an adult. Unfortunately, no exceptions are made in these cases.

Oh, then that definitely makes sense. Imagine then, how efficiently they programs are actually written if they load so fast and are able to perform at a level of installed programs! I never thought of that...
I think it depends on the type of program. Many of these actually download locally and just execute in the browser, not that each action requires talking back to the server. In that case it should not makes much difference. Just instead of being compiled for whatever windowing toolkit you use on your desktop, it is compiled for the browser.
Audiosauna: wow - I have no idea what all that means. I produced some sound but I twisted too many dials and hit too many sliders and sound stopped coming out after a while. A garland of flowers in a monkey's paw.
It won't matter as long as your internet connection doesn't suck.
And it's not just my connection specifically. You experienced it in NYC. At work, it takes more than 10 seconds for each page to load. And we supposedly have a fast internet. My pathetic DSL is faster than the net at work.
