(e:puddlediving) and I hosted the
Buffalo Queer Women meetup at the
Buffalo Brewfest Friday night. It was a ridiculous amount of people - they had 5,000 tickets available, as opposed to 3,000 in prior years.
(e:Terry) and I tried to go last year but didn't have tickets and they were sold out.
The line to get in wrapped all the way around the HSBC Arena to the back.
I really liked this beer, much to my surprise. It was light and citrusy. Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy.
We also tried several hard ciders. The McKenzie's Green Apple was wonderful!
Too many people!
There was an excellent beer selection, everyone was very nice, the event was well organized, and the lines moved quickly. However, I don't think I'd go again because it was just too many people. I think Mr. Goodbar's Good Beer Club is a well kept secret. (uh...until I just said that.)
Beer Club is Wednesday at 7:00 at Mr. Goodbar. Don't be late,
(e:samathon)!
We went again Sunday night and Clinton caught his pants on fire while dancing blindfolded.

@(e:tinypliny) I have never done fire dancing in any form I think there is a form of this that they don't use fire they use lights instead not sure.... First time I saw it was I think at the very first Music is Art festival ..... I can't answer my self but I have heard that same question asked with out the practice part and the answer is yes they do get burned... Now I don't know how bad or how much it hurts or if you get burned once and hit the same spot if you feel it or not.... But getting burned is part of the risk and if you do it you must assume you will get burned was the way I understood the answer...
But don't take my word for it find someplace where they will be firedancing or look up this group sure they have a non facebook web page and view it in person and after the event ask away... Somehow I'm guessing they will answer and I'm sure (guessing) if you drop something into the magic bag and ask you will get an answer for sure.....They can't tell you everything though I'm guessing ..... If you knew how Copperfield turned a rose into fire and then dove or what ever then you could try and do his act....
Nice Videos (2 putting the two if you have more or find more then this kinda says where you are at when I posted this comment).... not sure why you couldn't find the videos but glad you figured out how to get them up here.... I have a big long post about it....Ok maybe a medium post didn't as I never prof read it so hope it makes sense.....
(e:tinypliny), i think the fuel they use burns at a fairly low temperature so they don't get burnt. I didn't capture any of the fire eating or tracing along their bodies.
Okay, vids now displaying.
It seems I should be saying "stupid g+" also since I can't just copy the video URL from there to here. I've got them uploading to youtube now which is clearly redundant.
I think Eric's videos are in the facebook format. Stupid facebook.
Thank you for the detailed instructions, (e:metalpeter). I logged into my youtube acct but they're not listed. I've poked around g+ some more looking for a way to share them but not coming up with it. I can right-click and choose "Copy video URL" but it gives me the unuseful one featured above. :-p
Do you think they get burned often when they are training? Looks scary.
hehe, yeah the upload-youtube-estrip connection is too complicated on the mobile platform. On a workstation it is easier.
In Terms of Eric I think I don't have him as a facebook friend... He was on this site before Keith was and wrote what seemed like pretty often but not sure if that is correct... @Paul would know for sure but I thought it was etower but that might be wrong might be something more complex I'm sure Paul would know for sure hope that helps....
2. Once on Youtube when you find the video if memory serves you have to press play (not sure on that)... once it is playing there is a url address in what ever they call the box you use to type in addresses of where you are going on line....
2A. It would help if you had two tabs open at once maybe 3 if you are using say facebook or some other page to follow video to youtbue.......
3. Copy that address
4. go to (e:strip) and in your blog hit Paste
5. That address should show up on your blog....
6. High lite that address and then in the post/blog go up to the top of your post and hit the little youtube button and code should show up on both sides of it.....
7. Once you post the video should show up...
8. Now for multiple videos you should just have to go to each one and once it plays copy the link from the top of the page and again do the paste thing.....
But how to do it from the mobile site or from a phone I have no idea hope you had a great time....
1. Ok you need to go to Youtube and log in... Of course the part that might be tricky is that if it uploads from the phone you may not remember your user name and password......
