(e:puddlediving) and I hosted the
Buffalo Queer Women meetup at the
Buffalo Brewfest Friday night. It was a ridiculous amount of people - they had 5,000 tickets available, as opposed to 3,000 in prior years.
(e:Terry) and I tried to go last year but didn't have tickets and they were sold out.
The line to get in wrapped all the way around the HSBC Arena to the back.
I really liked this beer, much to my surprise. It was light and citrusy. Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy.
We also tried several hard ciders. The McKenzie's Green Apple was wonderful!
Too many people!
There was an excellent beer selection, everyone was very nice, the event was well organized, and the lines moved quickly. However, I don't think I'd go again because it was just too many people. I think Mr. Goodbar's Good Beer Club is a well kept secret. (uh...until I just said that.)
Beer Club is Wednesday at 7:00 at Mr. Goodbar. Don't be late,
(e:samathon)!
Nice Pictures........
Thanks! :-) Uncle Dudley has been giving me terrible grief about not making it home for the library's annual garden party July 17... ya know, 10 days before the bar exam. She has a fabulous dress & hat that she wanted to wear and now she knows what my outfit was supposed to be. In 2004, we started the trend of wearing hats to the garden party.
PS Thanks to Nicholas for the tailoring - it fits beautifully.
love your outfit!
You look awesome... very pre-war garden party. :)
That's a great outfit. You look like you're ready for a garden party.
