lost and found06/01/2011 12:06 #54396
being deaf sucksi swear i thought i was on the upside of everything...
lost my hearing aids. zero clue to where they could be. i didn't bring them out with me over the weekend because i went to a hotel and pool party...
had them saturday morning... and now they have vanished. they are nude colored and tiny... the worst thing ever to try and find.
already ordered new ones, for $700 and that's after insurance coverage. better then $3000 but still...
i am going to be very sad for a day and then get over it.

I am completely flummoxed by stereos, component systems and televisions as well. Uncle Dudley asked me how she do internet things on her tv, I knew it was too old to do such things but also couldn't even start to figure out how to make it happen. :-)

I am way behind on TV tech as well as I haven't had a TV for the same span of time... maybe a bit more. But I have had more laptops and computers and other ridiculous peripherals than is probably healthy...

wow - that is so cool. I didn't know such a thing existed. That would be handy for EVERYTHING. Or everything just need a GPS chip that you can track.

do they have any metal? You could borrow a metal detector from someone and scope about the house and yard... Might be hard if it is in the kitchen or in the tool shed though.

back with jillian michealswe have been on and off for a few years now...
it's a difficult relationship. it's just so much work and i feel like i put in all the effort.
i can honestly understand why she wants to adopt and never wants to have a baby of her own. getting super fit is pretty much the hardest thing ever and takes so much time and effort, the thought of destroying a fit body to balloon and have a baby...
i may eventually adopt as well. plus the percentage of successful marriages in america is pathetic.
anyway, i made my mom do the workout with with me, and it's nice to have someone suffer along with me.

The thing I really want to do is a back handspring and its not on the list. I can do most of the other floor things. Maybe back handsprings are not qualified as adult gymnastics.

Getting super fit is the HARDEST thing in the world. I agree.
Also, I think gymnastics are the way to go for super fitness. And contrary to popular belief you can start gymnastics at any age. (Yes, the ulterior motive here is that I want to start gymnastics at my advancing decaying age now.)

If you were here, I would totally be in with you on that workout. I have heard from the other students at Ballet that the Jillian Michaels workouts helps in better Développé holding form.

failwent out last night, i am realizing more and more how much i want to move from the phx when i graduate.
also, i hiked at least 30 miles in the past two weeks. it caught up to me because now it hurts to sit up, lay down, get in the car, be alive....
i am not going to day, but i am back on that mountain tomorrow. actually, not sure which one.... they are all hard.
i think i have lost 2-5 lbs and i am already looking and feeling better. i want to get to the point where i can hike the mountain twice in a row... i am almost there. woot woot.

That is splendid news! Being deaf does suck!
the deal with the insurance is if they are lost i have to pay 350 an ear, if they are just broken its free. and technically i broke them, or the machine did, but the company doesn't need to know that!
I once had candy in my pockets and all my laundry came out candy-coated. It was pretty gross and I had to wash it all over again. Such a pain. I check pockets more diligently before I do laundry nowadays.
You must have put them in your pocket and put that dress/skirt/trousers in the laundry. I always find pens, disintegrated tissue papers, pencils and whatnots in my pockets and sprayed all over my laundry sometimes. I then have to rinse them all over again - especially if its something like an ink-leaking pen or a tissue paper bit-flood.
They fix em for free?
