The West Side Bazaar opened Thursday, March 3, at 242 Grant Street, Buffalo, NY 14213 (between Guercio's and Sweetness 7) with seven vendors representing Peru, Nepal, Palestine, Rwanda, Sudan, and the West Side of Buffalo. Here are some pix of the wares.
Martha Sosa is a Peruvian chef. She made wings... Peruvian style.
But of course I didn't have any... I had this salad and for as much as I dislike lima beans, it was really good. I'd eat more lima beans if they tasted like this.
Open 11-6, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Go visit!

Here are photos from the gig.
Houston, the lead singer, is a hoot to photograph.

You are one of those rare people who actually win stuff! Everytime I win something (like once in a million years), it's invariably an umbrella. In fact, I don't think I have won anything BUT umbrellas and I don't even use umbrellas because I think they are unwieldy and obstructive. I vastly prefer raincoats.

Bowling at classic lanesCategory: friends
(E:puddlediving), shameless, (e:terry), (e:enknot) and i enjoyed bowling at classic lanes. I sucked at both places, but I found the rock-n-bowl kinda loud and distracting. Photo is of shameless.

I love lima beans! I do not have them nearly enough!
Looks wonderful. We need to get down there ASAP. I agree those lima beans look super tasty. And those Rwandan water-bearers are beautiful.
Those lima beans look delcious. Lima beans are one of my favorite foods in the world. I like them with cut up garlic and olive oil.
