
On the boot screen they faded it out enough to make it not noticable.

But on the login screen it is in your face bad.

The best part I have found so far is this new suggestive installer. When I try and run something I do not have installed it suggests I install it. I don't know how this slipped past all of the other reviews I found.

Its slightly faster but I wouldn't bother for your needs right yet as it was mostly under the hood changes and not really that many new features you would need. I mean look at XP, you are running a OS from 10 years ago, lol. Fedora 13 will still be supported for a while.
Can't you customize the login screen?
Is it worth upgrading? Right now, my one laptop has Fedora 13 and the other has Win XP.
