Rob Enderle is a fear mongering lunaticCategory: web

Last week, there was uproar about a rumored secret negotiation between Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) and Verizon that, if successful, would result in Google customers getting better bandwidth.
Check out these quotes.
The scary part is that communism typically requires a major change in how the government is run, and there's a tendency to want to kill whomever was running it before. There is no wonder that it makes those currently in power nervous.
A bigger problem for the rest of us is that it doesn't seem to work very well.
and this
It isn't yet clear if socialism will work in the United States, but given that pure communism didn't work in the USSR and China, it is doubly doubtful an equivalent concept -- albeit with a vastly more acceptable "Net neutrality" name -- will ever work.
It is so totally over the top that it is almost totally unrelated, no matter how you feel about net neutrality. It seems like part of some larger unrelated, right wing conspiracy to place this type of information in all types of media.

10 worst US cities to live inCategory: web

I didn't look at the list nor did I read the article. But often times they don't factor in things they should or they take into effect bad sports teams (even if they sell out). Clevland at least when it is warm is a great place to Visit but I can't say about living there................
Maybe Buffalo doesn't qualify as a "large" city anymore. I'm feelin' a bit left out here!
I didn't know cemetaries could be foreclosed. So much for death being an universal equalizer.

nameless bitch's going away dinnerCategory: food
At wegman's they had baby zucchini with zucchini flower. I love this but there was no way I was going to pay $4.99 for it. Apparently, neither was anyone else so they pretty much all went to waste as you could see they were already turning brown.

We settled on steaks and clams. It was the first time I was attacked by a clam. I did not let it cook long enough and when I went to go open it some more it closed on my finger. I showed it who was boss.

(e:libertad) made deviled eggs and collard greens which were also very delicious. Unfortunately, I have no pictures because my hands were too greasy from the grill by the time I sat down to eat.
congrats paul! that's awesome!! Nice to see people recognized for all their hard work. :)
(e:paul) you are an innovator with or without a beard.
Man, I am going to hunt this down and tell everyone how I KNOW you!! :)
I agree with the innovation thing. Many many people think so. Only the other day, I overheard this bunch of people talking about how cool it was that they could change the palette on their directory pages.
OMG!!! Where is this!! I KNOW this bloke!!!!!
PS: Are you kidding, you look SO sexy - with the dimples, sideburns, french beard and everything!
That is so freaky. I can't imagine eating on it. Did you?
