Android App Update
Category: android
Get your version 1.11 update from the marketplace. Added support for up to 10 images and a category. Does this work on your gphone (e:tinypliny)?

I haven't tested it out yet, because I seldom bring my phone to work (where there is wireless) and there are no accessible wireless nodes at home.

BTW, the whole always-on gmail went away. I think T-mobile must have changed something in their 3G network.

Little Rock City - revisited
Category: hiking
I freaking love this place. This time we took a long trail way the heck out into the forest. (e:matthew,52408) got some awesome pics with a real camera. We ended up seeing so much more than the time we went over the winter with (e:james).

congrats paul! that's awesome!! Nice to see people recognized for all their hard work. :)
uncutsaniflush - 08/10/10 21:15
(e:paul) you are an innovator with or without a beard.
tinypliny - 08/10/10 20:56
Man, I am going to hunt this down and tell everyone how I KNOW you!! :)
tinypliny - 08/10/10 20:55
I agree with the innovation thing. Many many people think so. Only the other day, I overheard this bunch of people talking about how cool it was that they could change the palette on their directory pages.
tinypliny - 08/10/10 20:53
OMG!!! Where is this!! I KNOW this bloke!!!!!

PS: Are you kidding, you look SO sexy - with the dimples, sideburns, french beard and everything!
libertad - 08/10/10 20:39
That is so freaky. I can't imagine eating on it. Did you?

Rob Enderle is a fear mongering lunatic
Category: web
Rob Enderle seems to have gone off the deep end in his response to net neutrality and the following

Last week, there was uproar about a rumored secret negotiation between Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) and Verizon that, if successful, would result in Google customers getting better bandwidth.

Check out these quotes.

The scary part is that communism typically requires a major change in how the government is run, and there's a tendency to want to kill whomever was running it before. There is no wonder that it makes those currently in power nervous.

A bigger problem for the rest of us is that it doesn't seem to work very well.

and this

It isn't yet clear if socialism will work in the United States, but given that pure communism didn't work in the USSR and China, it is doubly doubtful an equivalent concept -- albeit with a vastly more acceptable "Net neutrality" name -- will ever work.

It is so totally over the top that it is almost totally unrelated, no matter how you feel about net neutrality. It seems like part of some larger unrelated, right wing conspiracy to place this type of information in all types of media.
tinypliny - 08/10/10 01:20
He went from a some unsubstantiated net business deal to nefarious schemes within the dubious echelons of politics. Screams "conspiracy theorist" from the rooftops... his rooftop.

That dude is pretty much always wrong.
