So I thought some of you might like and also might hate these pictures of a spider web that I took, not sure how good they are or how well you can see them but here goes.

Sabres Game 1st of this season
Category: hockey
Not sure how well that video is on the eyes. It looked pretty cool in person but on my camera once you start a movie you can't zoom in so. But you get the general Idea.

Watching Hockey in person is a lot of fun it really is. The way I lookedd at last nights game is that the sabres started out bad. There was a time when we had 2 shots and they had 2 goals in the 1st period. Yes the back up goalie was in but it just didn't look like the same team. Then you had times when they played great and charged the net. I still say way to much passing on the power play. I say blast or fake the blast and wrist shot it in then out play them for the rebound, as you put guys in front of the net. It just seemed like when we played good we couldn't score, maybe it was great goaling also. Not doing anything with a two man advantage for 2 mintues hurt us to. We would score and then here they would come and score again. Here are some pictures from warm ups.

Test
Category: photos
So the computer I use has a lot of pictures on it so I went out and got an external Hardrive the plan is to transfer stuff and then get rid of some of the old stuff. But I want to make sure (e:strip) and other sites can see it as opposed to just file names so here are some random pictures of stuff I transfered well assuming it works. Currently using MSN firefox crashed. Using this there is also the restore backup key and I never see that on firefox so......

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

Well the 4th of July Folder (e:strip) just sees picture names like as if it was a CD, Damit.

Lets see next folder

image

image

image

image

image

image

If anyone is reading this you might be thinking why is pete doing this with 3 folders or more then one. The reason is that there are multiple ways to copy stuff to the hardrive and so far no luck. I thought this might happen. There isn't even I preview of what the pictures look like next to them that might be a size thing though. I think thsi next batch is sabres from years ago.

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

Well on the old Sabres pictures they showed up next to the file names but still (e:strip) only see's them As names and not pictures. well now I know only a couple more sites to test, we shall see.

AC/DC was Insanely Great
Category: concerts
The tickets I had where will call so I had to pick them up, the line for that was long but no where near as long as the line to get in but they both got kinda mixed up. "The Pat Down" was annoying but oh well. Then I had to get some Merch and some food also.

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

I can Admit the I liked the band that opened up for AC/DC called The Answer, even though I have never heard of them. I think they said they are from Bellfast might have the wrong place in Irealand .

image

image

image

image

image

I can't think of a hit that AC/DC didn't do plus they did some new stuff. If they didn't do stuff from the new CD (I don't have it) I think that would have caused some problems. The show started with "rock n' roll train" not sure what the tittle is but that is what I know it as. The video presentation of it and the start of the show was amazing. Here are the shots that I got. It can't equal what it was like to see it in person but any one who sees this gets the general idea.

Yes the show was not cheap but it was so worth the money. One of the reasons is that the show they put on is amazing. Now if this was a TV show this would be what they call breaking the 4th wall. If my memory is correct the first show I saw that did that was moonlighting, yes Bruce Willis would talk to the viewer, what a great show that was. Ok back to my point I'm not sure how much commentary I'm going to put into the pictures but for now here are somemore and maybe I'll talk about the effects or if I can remember the song that they where playing or what ever.

To try and Pick a Favorite AC/DC song would be tough. Thunderstruck is pretty good though. They used to play it at sporting events all the time. They used to play it at Bandits games. The Funny thing is when they would play it when it was the Bandits vs. The Baltimore Thunder they wouldn't play all it saying "Thunder Sturck" Or even "Thunder" would be giving a boost to the wrong team. Maybe my memory or thoughts on that is wrong though so who knows..........

One thing with posting concert pictures is sometimes I feel like it is more of a light show, since often you see the lights more then the band. Hopefully with the pictures in a biger size then thumbnails you can see the band in there.

The Effects Durring "War Machine" Where pretty cool. They had tanks and planes and then they had like a close up and it was like angus flying and then the bombs they where dropping where women. If you have the chance travel and go see AC/DC close by if the tour is close enough still.

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

I had a great time. They used that train for effects also. Lets see smoke came out of, a giant Girl sat on it and tapped her foot, flames shot out of it, that was pretty cool. Well here are yet more pictures to give a general sense of things.

Well due to the time factor I will cut it here and say that yes at the end of the show they had cannons that was pretty cool. And there was a point where the train went away and the two screens became one. Well it gives you the general sense and if you made it this far hope you liked this post.

Sorry you didn't go. I had to go since I wasn't sure when If Ever I would get a chance to see them again.
tinypliny - 10/20/09 20:05
And I am insanely jealous. Though they are from a completely different continent, to me, they are right up there with Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Dio, Ian Gillan, Diamond Head, Led Zeppelin and many from NWOBHM.

Where the wild things are Metal
Category: movies
First of all Happy Sweetest day to all, my treat to my self is the Sabres game, and not the 2nd chance prom. I didn't know it was sweetest day when I bought the ticket, I wonder if the sabres will have any promotion about it?

Last night I saw an interesting documentary on Sundance Channel called "Heavy Metal In Baghdad". I missed like the 1st 5 minutes. I wish I could spell out the name of the band but it is Latin so I looked it up Acrassicauda (Black Scorpion) . I think they are a pretty good band and the movie is pretty good. I can admit it changes some of my thought about Iraq. The Movie's web site

The intersrting this is that Spike Jonze worked on the film and also on "Where the Wild things Are" that I saw earlier in the day. I thought it was good, creepy, dark and very angry but think that is was good. I think a lot of people get being max and I won't say anymore or give anything away.
