bridgette - 08/13/09 11:23 I just try to remember those who are experienceing severe drought, or typhoons. having so much rain sucks, but it could always be worse.
james - 08/13/09 10:18 That wasn't fog, that wad haze. The super heat and the super humidity is fogging out the sun like a lid over steamed cauliflower.
tinypliny - 08/13/09 09:22 HEHEHEHE....
Its excellent in Buffalo right now and will be throughout this weekend. (This morning was super foggy though. What was up with that? It was bizarrely spooky at around 5:40 AM)

I already miss the island
We decided to head south to the ledges but unfortunately we hit a one
day bad weather patch which trapped us in a motel for today ;(

james - 08/13/09 07:58 Then you shouldn't have signaled for help with that coconut radio, Professor.

Diner advertising gone awry
Nothing makes you hungry like the thought if chocolate exlax.
Our neighbors house is up for sale if anyone is interested. $550,000
paul - 08/12/09 11:56 It's zillow :::link:::
and there are house for that much all over. There are even houses over 1 million. Seems like the buffalo market didn't crash, or at least not as bad as the rest of the country.
libertad - 08/08/09 20:50 I think a lot of the houses on Linwood are around that range now. There is some website you can go to that tells you how much houses are valued at but I forgot what it is.
carolinian - 08/08/09 20:47 $500,000 for a house in Buffalo? WTF? I thought the only place in Buffalo where houses sold for $500,000 was the Nottingham terrace area.
theecarey - 08/08/09 01:14 I love their backyard/pool set up. The interior was fun to go through, but I don't remember much about it.
metalpeter - 08/07/09 19:57 Guessing it is about $500,000 out of my price range, ha.
oda - 08/07/09 19:18 I'm looking to buy a house, but more in the $70,000 range. The "dream house" we found in Strykersville (east of East Aurora) was taken away from us yesterday while we were trying to make our bid on it, by some buyers who agreed to pay cash for the house. Paying for a house in cash means that the sellers don't need to do anything, so our real estate agent told us we really couldn't do anything to beat their offer.
I hope you get nice neighbors!
paul - 08/07/09 18:45 They are building a house somewhere else.
leetee - 08/07/09 18:44 omg, that house is beautiful... as is their backyard. why are they moving?

Korea house
Last night we went to dinner with (e:James) for his birthday. Matthew
and I ordered these potato based sugar drinks featured on the placemat.
They turned out to be personal sized bottles of vodka style alcohol
with a sweet aftertaste.
lilho - 08/12/09 01:22 um, i want that drink when i come... thx.
metalpeter - 08/07/09 19:58 looks like a good time
paul - 08/07/09 19:24 Ya, it is totally just hard liquor. The little cutsey girls in the pic made me think it was more like a wine cooler.
leetee - 08/07/09 18:49 (e:Uncutsaniflush) and i were there on wednesday and very curious about that drink...
