It will probably end up sitting out there for a week looking trashy and they won't get a fine because it's a church. I think they should have to adhere to the same rules as everyone else.

So theres gotta be ravers from like 90-95, that're like in their 30s (40s?) now?
thats nuts
Someone should track these people down and do a fucking documentary "where are they now style"
unless they are all brain dead, or junkies, then i don't want to see that movie
also, they never recycle anything ever. It all goes in the trash.
Today the cushion actually showed up at our neighbors side door.
Wonderful! - So it of course gave off that pwt, cushioned indoor furniture on the front porch look. That so sucks. I really don't think they're allowed to break the garbage rules. Maybe they have a staffing problem and didn't have anyone available to put the couch out at any other time. They could at least have tied the loose cushion to the couch if they were going to put it out though. I hate when people do that. Of course there is the other problem sometimes when people put big garbage item out at the right time but the garbage men don't take it for a week or two.
It was so embarassing because my friend's mom was visiting our house for the first time and at that point the cushion was across our stairs. Thats when I noticed it, when I went to go get the door.
I know churches are tax-exempt, but I don't think they're garbage-rule exempt. If this is a frequent problem, you maybe could call the mayor's complaint hotline and see if they can find some way to deal with it. They might just send the church a notice about it, or maybe even issue them a fine.
I don't think that church realizes that their uncovered trash bins are the number one source of the litter on our block of Linwood. Every week I see the trash blow out of the over stuffed bins. It's sad and disgusting.
