Someone sent me this link the other day where you could see the actual paid salaries of all New York State workers for 2007
Its hard not to be jealous, especially when you are talking about the top paid people at Roswell.
I thought Dr. Hohn retired, maybe that was his severance package. According to this

, he is administering "the newly-formed Empire State Stem Cell Board." From what I hear everyone loved him and he really turned Roswell around.
Seriously though, can you imagine making that much money in Buffalo. It amounts to about $30,000 a week. Let me repeat the - in Buffalo part. Are there even properties worthy of that salary in this city. He could buy the best properties in the city on one years salary.
In comparison, here is the top paid at Suny Buffalo. How is it that Dr. Linda Brodsky

makes so much more than the other execs at Suny Buffalo. Check out that $799,000 salary! I guess being a doctor and an executive is really the way to go, its the same with all the top paid Roswell employees.
I decided to just go ahead and look up the top salaries for all New York state employees regardless of organization and guess what Dr. Hohn is still #1 followed by closely by Linda Brodsky and all the top execs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
What's even crazier is when you think of all the money they make on their side companies and discoveries. I am so curious how that all works. It seems to me when I make anything at Roswell they own it, but all the top people have side companies. I really need to work on the side company thing in my 40s.
Back to my Dept
In my department the difference between the different jobs is not too extreme. Not like in the medical depts. It goes from $35k to about $100k. This year I didn't make as much as I could have if I was overtime elligable. Next year I will make more because I moved up a couple pay grades this year. In the end I am satisfied although I sometimes want to kick myself for not going to medical school.
In the short term, I would rather have an office than more money. Two of the guys I work with just moved from cubicles to offices and I was visiting today thinking how nice it would be to have a meeting space/demonstration table built into your work space. I actually live in the shafted cube thats cut back to make room for an isle and don't even have a chair for people to sit at like other the other guys do. Its kind of redic seeing as I have constant meetings with people on how to do stuff as part of my new job and they just stand behind my chair or sit on a chair just outside my cube.
I believe the term is pasties.
You look really tired in that picture there. Get some rest!!!
In terms of strip clubs in Canada Full Nudity is legal. I have been to a couple in Toronto. But here is where things get weird. IF you go to one in Toronto the girls will be on the stage and you can get lap dances and girls will sell you lap dances in fact that I think is where they make there money. I was talking to this one girl briefly who used to work at one of the places in the falls and she basicly said just watching doesn't go over there. I went to GTR's once (like 9-10 years ago I'm guessing) {Canada right over the boarder before you get to the KOA campground) and guys ladi on stage girls hit them with belts, looked down there boxers, Poored a pitcher of water on them, and the one guys girl at the time flashed the stripers her snatch. I don't know if the laws are different in differnt parts of Onterio or if it is the enforcemet. Hey things could have changed. I know in NYS it used to be legal for women to go topless in public anyplace a man could go topless, that is as long as it wasn't done in a sexual way.
Perfect costume idea for you, Paul. :O)
In Canada, or more specificly, Ontario, it is legal for ANY woman to be topless. Back in the '90s, some chick from Guelph Uni took off her top and fought the laws saying that her inablity to take off her top and the ability of males to take off their top was sexist. Nothing will make a politician shake in his boots more in Ontario than a sexist label, so, after much debate, it became legal for men or women to be topless in public. That first summer in Toronto was interesting, to say the least. I think the "hey look at my tits" phenomena has quieted in recent years.
Yeah, you do look like him. :D
I went to Pharaoh's and they weren't completely topless-- they wore those weird clear little nipple cover things. You could see nipples right through them, but they weren't bare nipples.
They also couldn't show bare genitals, but I thought that was pretty standard. The NY State law is that no place that serves alcohol can have total toplessness, hence topless juice bars.
In Canada they are allowed to be topless. I am not sure about going bottomless. I only saw male strippers in Canada-- I wanted to go upstairs to see the girls, but the coworker I was with was really uncomfortable with the whole nudity concept and adding girls to the mix would've broken her tiny mind, so I stayed down with the mens with her.
The men showed full nudity, but not much of it. So I suppose that would mean the women could too.
Incidentally I think you would be awesome as Freddy Mercury, (e:paul).
Oh! I'm bringing a friend, one of my roller derby comrades, to the party-- I'll warn her no heels or wheels in your house. We may stop by and then go on to another party, but if we do we'll probably leave (e:zobar) with y'all and come back later. (E:strip) parties are like going out and being home all at the same time! :)
About two month ago I saw a picture of you wearing a thin mustache and thought you bore a striking resemblance to Freddie Mercury. Go for it.
I assumed that at that place they could go completely topless. I know at Pharohs they go completely topless. I wonder if having an event there changes them to not being able to show their nipples or if they figure most people are there to dance screw it. I'm not sure how it is done exactly but I would assume that if the dollar is given and the looking is done right you can see some snatch. I'm not a dancer but it seems like dancing on a rug would be weird since some dancing moves you slide your feet or maybe even legs and a rug would kinda stop that. Still sounded like a good time. Hey in terms of the costueme that might work pretty good.
