notes
Sad and dissapointed. I have to work on Sunday the 8th. Pride. Boo.

Which of course means that (e:lauren) will be out there, with Ralphie. Getting accosted by people who can't leave him alone. Without me. With gays around. Seriously, I don't like it. I mean Ralphie is a total chick magnet! And (e:lauren) is pretty damn hot her self. I'm so very dissapointed.

The neighbors are moving out. The neighbors that actually spoke to us occasionally. Last night they were moving out by throwing things off their balcony. One thing was apparently glass and it shattered. Now we are stuck with just the damn foreign guys who stand around in circles speaking loudly until we walk by when they shut up and stare at us. And i don't care if that sounded crotchety.

Battle at Buffalo rocked last night - except for the weird energy. It didn't seem very upbeat and happy. One fellow called another out (meaning they were challenged to a battle) and it was a serious one. It ended in some strong words and an invitation to step outside. Sometimes breakin ain't easy. This happened twice last night. Two separate occasions. I don't know what the hell was up.

Afterwards, we went out with Shane and Heather to iHop for some breakfast. I haven't had breakfast at 1 am in forever. Especially when not incredibly drunk! good times!

Now I'm off to work all day... Then Heather has somehow got me into a candle party... yes.. a candle party... serious?

I meant to say this on your last post but forgot or was it (e:lauren) about the dog. Here is what you do where ever you got your dog from go get a shirt and a hat from there ok at least a shirt and work out a deal tell them that you are they only people with that kind of dog in your "rich" "afflunt" "highly traveled area". This if worked right will do a lot of good. First of all anyone who looks at the dog will now know where you got it and where they can get one. The shirt would be given away "hey free advertising". Maybe if the people can be convinced you could get other free stuff out it to. I'm sure something could be worked out that would work out great for both parties. On a side note yeah (e:lauren) is cute and she will have a cute dog with her, I'm guessing she will get more attention then anyone could ever want, sorry you have to work. On a serious note you may want to get in touch with (e:Paul) I thought he said he wanted to go to Pride in Toronto, not the same I know but it would be something to consider.

there is life outside your appartment
Category: ralphie
amazing to think of what i did before the puppy. Like computer work. Pay bills. watch tv. watch MOVIES.

yesterday we took mr ralphie on a long ass walk. saw (e:drew) along the way which confused the crap out of me... why? because random jogging person said 'hi felly, hi lauren'... this is unusual you see because now random people that we meet say 'hi ralphie'.

yes it has happened that quick. Ralphie is a celebrity. We have so many people stopping us to say hello to him that we have regulars! From across the street... "HEY ITS RALPHIE!!" oh sweet jesus no leave my dog alone...

We have people pulling over to stop and gawk at my dog... the best was when 3 large guido type fellows pulled over in their suv to yell at us...

"Aye he's really cute! I bet I'd be pretty cute if i had a dog like that!"

Now stop and read that last line again but this time, think of Rocky saying it. yeah... its like that...

so anyway, on to the world outside of Ralphie.

its my day off and i'm driving to East Aurora for an 830 am meeting. bitches.

It was always the same with my parent's dog, Ralphie... people stopping us all the time. Mostly, to ask what kind of dog he is and why he doesn't have a leash. He's a coca-poo and, well, he has never been on a leash. The benefits of living in the 'burbs, i guess?

I found Ava and Nolan got a lot of attention on the streets, too.... since i only walked them a couple times a week, i didn't mind it, but i can see how scary/annoying/time consuming it would be every day, twice a day.

But see, if you hadn't gotten such a cute dog, you wouldn't have this problem.....

sunshine!
WHAT A GORGEOUS DAY OUT?!~!!

started out with a nice walk with Ralphie. Walked up Elmwood to Lexington ave and back, and he did so well. THe little shit is so stubborn he refuses to move for the first block of the walk and then he finally gives in and LOVES it.

Today I'm thinkin about pickin up the fam and headin out to delaware park for a little picinic. just some sammiches, a blanket and some relaxation with Senior Ralphipants.

Tonight I believe that we will head out to Miss Kitties to meet up with (e:lauren)'s friends. We havne't been out in forever. Haven't done much other than raise a puppy and work and dance class in forever. I think its totally time for a drink. or two.

hope everyone enjoys this beautiful day~!

After a long walk I love how puppies just collapse and are useless for hours. Herr Ralphhosen sounds adorable, can't wait to meet him.

new keyboard.
Now that things are settled down... sorta... i feel as though i can rejoin the world.

Training a dog is suprisingly time consuming. Scratch that. Training a Dachshund, one of the most stubborn breeds that exhists, is time consuming. It is a good thing that Lauren is out of school so that she can do this properly.

He is doing very well with most things that he is learning (no biting, potty on the floor, potty in crate, barking, being a bitch to the cats, going into the bathroom -which is the delightful land of kitty litter) but his stubborn streak means he is doing it all still when it seems to benefit him more than not.

he is quarentined to a makeshift area in our kitchen. Which that in itself is shifting everything in our lives a bit. When nothing is in its 'proper place' it throws a wrench into your daily workings.

When I get home from work I have to split as much of my time between bonding with ralphie and paying attention to the cats so they don't scratch my eyes out in my sleep.

in other news...

(e:lauren), my smarty smart pants, got her grades in for class last semester and she got two A's and two A-'s. What a smarty smart pants!

(E:lauren) is going to need a job soon. A job in something that is closer to 'women/genders studies' than 'wilson farms'. anyone know of something?
