Gold Fish in Hoyt Lake

Last year at this time there was a lake of dead fish. Tons of them. I tried to find my journal about it but it took me way to long to find it and I gave up.

So last year was a massacre of fishes and this year we see an introduction of a foreign species. My questions are; when were these introduced and will this further upset the local ecosystem? Don't people realize that this isn't cute to release foreign species?

I have no idea where they came from or how they effect the eco system really at least they aren't those very expsesive coy fish. Well maybe if they where someone would try to steal them for there back yard pond.

A week ago I saw a giant rat swimming in Hoyt lake with a half-rotten fish in its mouth... I wanted to comment on your journal and that was all I could come up with.

Walk to work

Yesterday I got to walk to work as a result of not having a car. It was such a beautiful morning. The wind wasn't blowing so I really got a chance to enjoy the suns rays. I'm a bit obsessed with looking at all the different architecture in Buffalo. I kind of have even a small collection of random buildings and houses. This is the Greek Orthodox Church on Delaware and Utica.

I think its one of more beautiful churches around. Delaware, in particular, has some lovely architectural beauties. Lovely picture!

Nice pics. I love taking architectural photos. not too long ago, i went downtown, just to take a few snaps. although i am not a fan at all of what happens inside them, i love how churches look. adore the one you took. :O)

It's proper name is 'Our Lady of the Unibrow Greek Orthodox Church'. There have been a few miracles there too. Statues will grow facial hair there spontaneously. It is a sight to see.

That is the Greek Orthodox church on Utica and Delaware. I love it.
