Saturated Fat binge and purge
Yay the holidays are over! I'm sitting at my desk with nothing to do on my lunch. Too cold to go outside, too boring to sit in cafeteria. Does anyone know if Roswell has a work out place or something for peoples lunch breaks? I really would like to do some cardio on lunch rather than be as (e:mrdeadlier) has coined a "fatty mcfatfat"! I'm sick of eating cakes and cookies and chocolates and more fat and more fat...i just wanna be lean and mean. Instead my ass is planted in this chair and the only time I get to move is in the gym which closes early because of the holidays when I need it the most. Stupid Holidays.

Thanks for the New Years Party (e:pmt). I would have liked to unwrap the gift that was on your couch that I saw in (e:metalpeter)'s pics. Great to see (e:ladycroft)! What a great surprise.

I'm looking forward to many changes in 2008!

BRRRR it is cold outside.

That's all.

Duh, just g et an elliptical for your spacious office! You can find them on Craigslist, but they are sold under furniture as they are exclusively used as clothing racks.

Normal hours are just a few weeks away.
museumchick - 01/02/08 18:49
Happy New Year! I hope it will be a great year for you.
metalpeter - 01/02/08 18:14
It is really cold out there, I froze today. You would think that them being such a big place would have some kind of machines to help keep their workers healthy but a lot of places don't. Here is an idea if you are paid for a certain amount of Hours (this only works if you don't clock in and out) work through lunch and leave a half hour early. With Roswell there and The hospital and the medical Campus I think a good Idea would be some kind of gym that was used for all those places employees only. Or it would be public and as a benefit you would get a card that you could use it from two hours before your work time to two hours afterwards or something like that.

I really want to get an elliptical machine, but almost everyone I know who gets one ends up using it as a $1000 clothing rack.
janelle - 01/02/08 16:25
Get an elliptical machine and then you don't have to worry about when the gym closes. We love ours.
I got back to the cardio this weekend. All I want to eat is vegetables and fruit after so much meat and sweets.

Mike's accident and girl with bag.
I kind of consider this our first snow. Not sure if it is or not. Picture taken 12/16. It kind of felt like the first real snow to me.

Here is (e:mike)'s accident photos. It was a good thing that (e:paul) took pictures too, or else it would have taken you this long to see anything.

Poor Mikey. Look how sad he looks.

This is where it shows his car being towed away. Good bye nice car with the heated seats.....I'll miss you.

Much like the flag in the star spangled banner, your photos gave proof through the night that the estrip bumper magnet was still there!

One week of dust
This is gross. I just dusted last Sunday. My DVD player is right next to the air vent. I'm going to get a new air filter as soon as I can. This is just not right. I was told that I shouldn't have to worry about getting a new filter, that someone would take care of it, but clearly this is wrong.

image

I just put vent filters on my registers. You are so lucky if you have radiators rather than forced air that comes from your nasty basement.
mike - 12/16/07 17:25
wowser! Radiator heat is so much better! I wish I had it!

White trash mountain
Here I am with my new hip hugger laundry basket. The picture in the inside show some woman figure with a laundry basket glued to her side like this.

image

My best friend and I went to White Trash Mountain. I actually don't remember the real name of the store, except it has mountain in it. People who like to hunt go there and they have lots of extremes. Lots of camouflage and lots of bright orange jumpsuits. Julie being a non-white and me being me, we stood out more than the bright orange-- don't shoot me dick cheney jump suits.

image

Here I am on this beautiful camouflage sofa. It is only like a thousand dollars. It would go perfectly with my decor.
image

I think this was in Macy's, but could have been Lord and Taylor. Mike would remember because him and his friends also tried on the coat and took pics! We didn't even know that we each had done so until after the fact. That is so weird how can two groups of people try on the same coat just to make fun of it. The damn fur is rabbit fur by the way!

tinypliny - 08/07/10 11:55
hahaah - I missed this as well. But (e:libertad) looks hot with his hip-hugger-laundry. LOL
metalpeter - 08/07/10 11:18
How is this the 1st time seeing this post.

Hope a real leporad didn't die for that, but she looks great in the coat, it is a nice looking coat. Camo isn't my style but for those that like it I can see it. I can also picture it in like a log cabin, or faux log cabin in the woods type of place, or in a place for hunters.
heidi - 08/07/10 00:28
I know at least three families with the full camo living room set. It comes in different varieties of camo.
tinypliny - 08/07/10 00:16
Rabbit fur printed in leopard print. That's like a furry irony.
jbeatty - 08/07/10 00:01
You would have to pay me to put that couch in my house!
james - 12/16/07 18:02
The camo couch is pretty bad.

But just imagine the basement that it goes in *shudder*
mike - 12/16/07 17:27
Lord & Taylor! That was so weird, I can't believ we both did that! Randomness. Do people really love rabbit fur that looks like that?
