I don't know why but today I didn't post any comments on blogs that isn't like me at all. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my voice is kinda different today. I got soaked at the square last night but got out of the heavy rain. But then went back to watch the two bands from under a tree. It wasn't my type of music really but I had a good time listing to a different kind of music then I know. Yeah I did get wet but that is ok. I don't think I'm going but there is supposed to be a huge Fire Works show in Niagara Falls on Saturday night. I guess it is in Celebration of Pizza Pizza's 40th year. I will be going to the Blue Jays Game. It would be cool to do both but I don't see it happening. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Sci-fi Sunday and tatsCategory: photos
As a test Here is a few Tattoo Pictures I saved from an online search. I was having a problem and Paul sent me a suggestion that I needed Flash for firefox. Not sure if mine was just for IE or if mine was just old but here is the final test.

The pictures I found starting at Miami Ink's web site
and from there found a few more. What got me thinking about posting pictures is that 1. I like Miami Ink the show 2. I like tattoos 3. at the Italian fest I saw a few ladies with lots of art on there arms and that was inspiring.
I was going to post about how I watched a few movies on Sunday so I might as well finish up that thought. The first one was really cool graphicly it was "A Scanner Darkly". I guess what they did is film everything and then draw over what they filmed. It makes the animation at some points like from a distance look really real. There is a depth to it I can't explain. I really liked it. I don't know if it didn't have the awesome look to it if the story was enough. But hey it is about drugs and cool technology and survallince so it rocked. the second Was "The Island". That is a fun movie to watch. With out going into two much Detail People have clones made so they can live a full life. But what they don't know is that for the tissues to grow right they can't just keep them vegated they have to live and some of them learn to question things. I guess you could call all 3 movies SCi-fi sort of. The third Movie Was Narnia. I have seen it before but I figured it was a good time to open up the DVD and watch the adventure again. I again enjoyed it like I did the first time I saw this new version of it.
On Sunday Nights I like to watch John From Cincinatti. Granted it might not really be sci-fi. But there are weird things in it like a guy floating into the air and some people being healed. I think it is more spritual then any thing else but you can call it sci-fi. It is about a disfuctional and crazy family of surfers (not all of them). I think it is a good show. That leads into The Dead Zone. I admit I watched a few seasons before I ever saw the movie and I think like most Stephen King movies it was based on a book I didn't read but very good. I admit Meadowlands isn't sci-fi but I like it. I heard someone say it is like Desperate house wives meets twin peaks. That sounds like a good Description to me.

art cars webCategory: photos
First of all yesterday I went to the Italian Fest and wrote about it in my previous post.
The other day I posted about a video I saw on Yahoo about art cars. I myself like art cars and have taken pictures when Buffalo had art on wheels. with my art cars search I didn't come acroos any of those but maybe art on wheels will be another day and see what I come up with that way. Here are a bunch of pictures that I found on line. None of these pictures are mine and I didn't take any of them.

[box] Metallica singer stopped at airport for 'Taliban' beard
07/11/2007 2:00 PM, Yahoo! Music

Metallica frontman James Hetfield was stopped by security officials at London's Luton Airport for allegedly having a "Taliban-like" beard.
The band was on its way to perform at Live Earth on Saturday (July 7).
Hetfield was briefly questioned by airport officials until they realised who he was. No explanation was given for why he was stopped, but his bandmates speculated that it was due to his beard.
Meanwhile, Metallica's new album is due out in early 2008, with bassist Robertt Trujillo telling Blabbermouth: "There's a lot of everything, man. There's speed on this. There's a couple of tracks where you're gonna go, 'Wow!' and I know you're gonna like it because it has the flavor of the old. But it has this kind of groove and power behind it that I think is us today." [/box]
what is in the above box sounds like it could be old news sort of but it was just on Yahoo's main page but it is a couple days old. But what I find strange is that they are now giving people a hard time based on a beard most likely. The world we are living in is gettting strange.
Today I went to see Tranformers. It was what I expected a big exsplovsive movie. I liked it. That being said I think there are a couple things they could have done better. In robot form the guys should have looked more like what they transformed from. Facialy Megatron didn't look at all like how he did in the cartoon. But I still had a good time.
Next I went to the Italian Heritage Festival. I had a good time but was hampered by the rain but I still got a few pictures and ran into Tony&Megan and talked to them for a few. I never did get that Canolli because of the rain mostly. I had to have some fried dough, then I tried these beef sandwich that was very good and a Steak Kabob.

Italian Idol

I don't remember the name of the actual place but there was some interesting stuff inside the Heritage place. Here are a few pictures.

I didn't get any pictures of the Illo dipollo stuff but here are a few more pictures from my day.

I hope everyone has a great rest of what ever is left of their weekend.

Yahoo UndergroundCategory: art
Ok so I admit I don't have a link. I will also admit I don't have the video. I tried to download the video off of yahoo but couldn't. I use Yahoo for mail and to read the news. They have this section called "The Undrground". Today they had a video about "art cars" I think in AZ going to a museum but I didn't see the museum maybe there where other videos I didn't see. The video was interesting and did show a couple of really cool looking cars. When I first went there I was looking for pictures that I could post here but all they had was video. If anyone else uses Yahoo you might want to check it out. Ok so I thought why not check out the site again and now there are more options so here is a link or at least a web address

Ok I found a few pictures hopefully you like them. Not to many just a few.

The thing with cars like these is that video or seeing them in person is much better because you get to all the little details. There is also this cool double bodied bus but I couldn't find a good picture of it.

I like the creep mobiles.
I like the creep mobiles.
I know that companies can have the same name as long as they don't have the same type of product. I assumed that the boards wouldn't want to have the name of an adult magazine (and more) but I assumed wrong, thanks for the info.
to answer your question about Hustler snowboards, I don't think they are in any way affiliated with LFP Inc. I think its just a coincidence. LFP mostly deals in adult entertainment related stuff, along with the investigatory stuff they do at Hustler.
