Veal is for loversCategory: daily grind
I just spent about 2 hours on my friend's Myspace account friending every person I could find from the UK. She is a musician and requested that I, her northeast marketing director, do so. Considering how much I can't stand Myspace, it was very benevolant of me.
I just ordered a rubber tree plant for my mother for sunday. I don't really have much of an explanation why I would order such a thing, but confusing her makes me very happy. And i'm sure she will make some type of comment about trying to grow rubbers... my mom sure is kooky.
I also ordered a set of 6 prestretched canvasas to create jess's birthday present.
The paintings in the background will be the inspiration for it - as seen on HGTV.
I like the idea of that and Jess has been asking for a Felly Original for a while. Of course her birthday was May1 - so i better get a move on.
Tonight I'm making a Tshirt for Erin for her birthday. it will read simply
"I went to the veal house and all I got was this tasty baby"
wrong... very very wrong...

Refer to the next post I'm about to write on the finished Tshirt design.
The HGTV show was Color Splash with this guy who spends the whole time showing off his arms and smiling pearly gag me whites at the camera. Hate the guy/show but love the arrangement...
and maybe instead of wearing a bib, you should just refrain from all liquid intake while reading my blogs....might be safer!

Myspace is the exact sort of media Timothy Leary wanted us to tune out of. Wise sage he was.
(e:jim) has nine such canvases ready to paint once we move into the new place and get some color on the wall. Oddly, we did not see this nine square arraignment on HGTV.
and the veal comment? That is the second time I have snorted tea out my nose while reading your stuff here. I am going to need a bib soon.

two years now! greatest two years ever, i'd say!
she probably will end up on here sooner or later... she is more into observing and reading people's blogs than actually posting... she's been known to spend hours on Myspace, just browsing and reading...

The kitten is biting my toes. One of my employees just called me to let me know that if i wanted some extra hours that I could come in early and he would get out early... Nice to know, Anthony... I'll keep that in mind... thanks much. no.
I'm not allowed to wake Lauren up until Noon. She has been working crazy hours for the past two weeks and finally has a morning wherein she can sleep in. So... noon. I have another half an hour to dick around on Wazina's laptop while she gets ready to head into work.
I'm thinking about spending a little bit ripping up that horrid bush in the front yard. Actually there are four bushes there, surrounding a large boulder. And of course, it is all boxed in by very contemporary wood edgers. (sarcasm) I imagine that the roots run very deep as well.... this should be interesting... By the time I am done, I would not be suprised if we end up with a shovel across the yard and me having a hissy fit.
Wow that just reminded me of the time i got stuck in the driveway here and looked up to see all of my housemates watching me try to shovel my way INTO the driveway. and then the cheap ass shovel broke and I proceeded to throw it across the yard. We found it when the snow melted.
I think I just realized that I'm a total impatient, hot tempered asshole. Which is funny b ecause when shit goes down at work I'm the last person to lose it.
anyway... I'm going to go clean the kitty box.

confabulationI've noticed that, more often now, I have been absorbing as much about the Hudson Valley and the Catskills as I can. I'm savoring the sites and the sounds. Soon I'll be leaving all this behind, and it makes me sad....
Lake Minnewaska
Katerskille falls... (i don't even know if i spelled that correctly)
There are Waterfalls everywhere I go
I'll miss looking out over these beautiful mountains....
and seeing her with this beautiful backdrop up at the Rock Garden..
I guess I'm just being overly romantic of this place... its not like i don't stop at least once a day and think to myself "I can't wait to get out of here!"

These pictures do remind me of where I'd rather be than in an office or a city sometimes. I had the urge to bolt for a weekend a couple weeks ago, and although I didn't, these pictures were sort of my idea of paradise without cell phones.
The Sabres are messing my tree hugging plans up.

disruptedWe decided last night that it would probably be a good idea to not move out of new paltz officially till the end of july. I would still like to get an apartment in buffalo sometime in the beginning of july and spend the month getting there and getting everything ready for our official arrival, but there is too much going on in July...
First of all my family (who lives all around Buffalo) are having a family reunion [idown here][/i] in the middle of July. Also there is a large fourth of july campout at my friend's house that I do not want to miss...
Also I have spent almost ten years in this little town, and I have to admit that as much as it pisses me off some times, I really am quite attached... I have only made one big time move in my life... home to new paltz... now its new paltz to buffalo... all my 8 gazillion new paltz friends and aquaintances.... gone...
anyway... its now after four and I am supposed to finish sanding down this dresser and get it stained and finished TONIGHT>.... so yeah i got lots of work to do..

wow... what an awesome idea! When I get home tonight I'll upload the photo in GIF form and submit it. Hell I'm down for $2000.
You should submit it at Threadless.com

I would totally buy one.
gin is definetly a good thing to put down before reading my journal.
especially when reading about such a delightful t shirt design.
i just came back from the party wherein said shirt was given to said birthday girl
and the comment 'best gift ever' was definetely said....
and said felly is definetely drunk and happy that this post doesn't have much in the way of spelling errors... just numerous 'said's.
I put my drink down before checking your journal out.
This time it was gin, and I don't want to imagine how that feels, or the difficulty in getting an olive dislodged from my nose.
But this is an awesome t-shirt design.
I love the meat colored calf. Delicious.
