Yesterday, while playing WoW, a character walked up to me and asked if I would help them out with a quest. I always help if I am not busy myself. But I was on a quest with a group of people.
This character then asked again, and told me that he/she was the child of a different character I had met a day or two earlier. So, I convinced my current group to help this poor loner out. In the end, we all completed our quests and everyone was happy!
Later on that evening, the father of the kid I just helped, logged online just to thank me for helping his kid. How cool is that.
I just thought this was a great example of what
(e:strip) is all about. Building a community to help counteract the effects of the computer in todays society.

on a less philosophical note,
My character in WoW is
Llolth
I am on the Skywall server.
send me a message if you want to team up, it would be cool to meet an estrip'r on the online world.
Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about.... I played in MMO for 4 years. The break is good, trust me!
