too long it has been
i haven't posted in a couple weeks. Guess between work and my best friend being home from Las vegas, my computer has been put on the back burner. That's ok, it's good to get away from computers once in a while.

I have been busy though, I put new tires and rims on my truck, and I also had new gears, gaskits, bearings, and u-joints installed. $2400! Crazy huh?
Hopefully that will be tha last of the upgrades for a while.

I had a great couple of weeks !! Steve was home, and I took a monday off and we spent it at Silver Lake. We went tubing and water skiing with his family's 1970 boat. It was fun though, I couldn't get up on the water skis!
Her is a picture I took as the sun was going down.

On july 2nd, My friends and I went to the Buffalo Hills village to see Charlie Daniels and His Band. It was crazy! I haven't seen so many lawnchairs in one place before. The proceeds all go to charity, and they have the largest fireworks show this side of the Mississippi!! $15 a ticket, and they sold 17,000!
Hereare some shots of the concert and the fireworks.

Lately I have been playind World of Warcraft! The game is really fun. If you don't know, the game is played online on the Warcraft servers and with other players. It is a fantasy rpg with the option of group quests!

I plan on uploading some screenshots, because the game creators built in a screenshot function. Genius!!!

I have to go to bed, it's almost 11pm and I am driving to Pittsburgh PA at 4am to go apartment searching. Plus I am tired from my 24th birthday yesterday!
Hope everyone has a safe weekend.

wants
Don't you think wants help us to work harder and accomplish more? I agree that a decent job with health care would be great, we are in the same boat!

podzilla - iPod Linux
I happened accross this site from an article I read in the July '05 Macworld Magazine.
If you own a 1st 2nd or 3rd generation iPod, you can install Linux on it! Besides bonus features like free tetris, sketch pad and calculator programs, you can record at 96 Khz. All you need is a mic! The os only takes up 5mb of space and creates a dual boot system. There is non audified video playback too. All for free. I caan't wait until the 4th generation iPod version comes out. I plan on installing it.!!
