Today I went with (e:mike), (e:lilho), (e:mathhew) and (e:terry) to run some errands. It is supposed to end in my haircut after we buy clippers. I think I am going to celebrate shaving and haircutting with dressing up and going out somewhere.
My hair has gotten so crazy, unfortunately, (e:lilho) has started drinking with our dinnr at Gabriels gate so I hope my haircut comes out. Who wrote that song about never taking acid and cutting your hair? I think they same think should apply to letting your barber get drunk before the cut.
I bought (e:mike) his christmas gift circus tickets. It cost about $200 for two tickets. Holy crap. I hope it's good. We are in a great location. We turned down floor tickets for the same price because I didn't want look up the whole time.
I got to test of out my work project and estrip on a blackberry. They both worked good. I like the keyboard on the blackberry but I still think it needs a cam.

Dinner At Betty'sCategory: food
Last night (e:terry), (e:lilho) and I headed over to Betty's on Virginia. The food was delicious. I had lamb chops, (e:lilho) had paella and terry had some overwhelmingly lentil vegetarian thing.
We had clams casino for an appetizer. They were so freakin' yummy. I would suggest the place to vegetrian and meat eaters alike.

When we lived on Linwood, we tried to go there once. The wait was horrible and the place stank of burned food. We decided it wasn't worth waiting.

Exposed brick walls are so played out now.
Anyway, I didn't eve know that this place existed! I am going to have to hit this up when I come back from the Pac. northwest.

My Toe Is So Fucked UpCategory: health
So my toe looks worse than ever although it feels much better. Unfortunately, I have one more month before my health insurance starts.
Can someone tell me (maybe you know Jenks) if it is normal for a toe to start looking worse, even if it begins to feel a little better. It is making walking tricky because it is fatter than the other toes now and gets in the way.
I just want to be able to dance again.
Today was a better day at work. I built lots of cool stuff.
I found out the reason that code looked so messed up is not just that the users were using an online wysiwyg editor but that they were pasting into it from word. What a nightmare this is gonna be.

WTF? Why don't you have insurance? It should kick in within a month of your being hired.

Deep bruises can take days to show up. I broke my toe last year by dropping a server on it, and it hurt like hell. The bruises were awful, livid, and rainbow colored, but did not show up until two days later. I just got a splint from the store for my toe since I didn't have insurance at the time.

Monkat ReturnCategory: school
I had to update the monkat model for josephine [search]josephine[/search] <-- why does no one else use these search links. Maybe I need a new person to help me figure out how to help people figure out how to use stuff . I like it best in green as I mentioned before.
And what about the google maps tag (MAP TO: 444%20LINWOOD%20AVENUE)
Or the wikipedia tag (WIKIPEDIA - virtual reality)

[map]1600 Pennsylvania avenue, washington, dc[/map] is an example of how you would type a non-buffalo address. How much easier could it be?

Paul, you ask why doesn't "anyone" use these search links.
All I can do is answer for myself.
The e-strip search link I've never had the need to use it. If I am referencing an e-peep I find that just referencing the (e:peep) is sufficient.
The google maps link is entirely too Buffalo-centric for me. You can't just type in "309 Leconte View Lane, Knoxville, Tn" and get a valid result. You emailed me instructions on how to override the default Buffalo-centric settings and I tried to write a help based on it but I never liked the result. I barely understood it and i wrote it. To me it it is just easier to open a new tab with google maps and then copy and paste the link to the result than to try to remember the code to do the same thing from within (e:strip).
The Wikipedia search is one that I use when I feel it appropriate. An (e:strip) shows that it has been used in 40 journals - other than you it seems that Ajay and me have used it the most if my counting ability exists.
I've told you on more than one ocassion that it would be a good idea to have some sort of introductory page or newbies guide to (e:strip) to help people know what all the wonderful features of (e:strip) are.
The problem with help and f.a.q.'s is that people usually only look at them if they have problems.
By the way, journal dots don't work in Linux and osX using Firefox - the window opens and the number of journals is "0"
Paul I think you are genius and a very good person to make Elmwoodstrip happen. I appreciate all the hard work you do.
