Thanks to the Basic Stamp
Thanks to the basic stamp and serin, my office looks like a tornado hit it. I am so disspointed in my basic stamp and electronics in general. However, I am excited that I got the credit card reader to work. Cassie and I will definately have the most exciting project.

Communist Education
In the reading I have to do for school tonight, it teaches you how to build a robot that spray paints protest messages.

As the vehicle rolls along the ground, the row of spray cans prints a text message in much the same way that a dot-matrix printer would. For example the word CAPITALIST would be written as:

Notice their spelling of Capitalist in the dot matrix version.

midi madness
I am becomming obsessed with midi again after listening to (e:terry) 's journal [inlink]terry,405[/inlink]. I think for my next collection, I will collect about 10,000 midi songs and start a site for midi ringtones and to let people add music to their journals easily. I can't believe how much is out there. WHat are the laws on this stuff?

I really kind of enjoy the way that Nirvana is so musakified in this midi format. It's almost like listening to Nirvana on an accordian. It reminds me of sitting under the bridge at Delaware park and lighting stuff on fire as a kid.

Serial Killah
I am going to turn into a serial killer soon and I don't mean of people. I hate serial ports. I just lost the last twleve hours of my life trying to interface the stupid basic stamp with the web. Not to mention that my office is a wreck with little resistors and LEDs all over the place. I am determined that my stamp is developmentally challenged.

I am also really sure that I don't want to get to know computers on a more intimate level. I am quite satified being a web developer, graphic designer and 3D modeler without needing to understand the complexities of serial communication between the basic stamp and the vaio.

I hope to be delivered from this soon.

Basra and Valentino
Valentino fell asleep tucket up next to basra's heatrock. They are so cute together. I wish I was a tortoise or maybe just that I had a heatrock. Maybe that is what elmwood needs to attract more tourism, the worl'd alrgest human heatrock. THey could put it in the parking lot between Wilson Farm's and Globe Market seeing as nothing else seems to be there. For a while I heard rumors that Cozumel had bought the property and was building another restaurant.
