Passover Coke.
There are some Jews who can not have any corn-related products during Passover, so the good people at Coke make soda with REAL sugar, not corn fructose. I am not a Jew, I am more than happy to pretend today.
You can really taste the difference.

Look for the yellow bottle caps (2 liter size only, with the OU-P).
Even this Coke doesn't hold a candle to Dr. Pepper made from real sugar cane. That is really something to die for.
Leetee, glad I could help
Thanks for the heads up on Passover Coke. I am partaking in a glass as i write this. Sure can tell the difference... this is so much more betters.
Not a fan of the good Dr, myself.. never understood the fuss. I always thought it tasted like Coke that went bad.. lol. But hey, that's just me...
I think you'll find I complimented the Dr.
you didn't just diss the good DR. did you!!!!????
UCSF, the difference is night and day to me. You're not alone at all!
how cool!
When I was kid in the late '60s early 70s, as far as I can recall, coke was made with sugar. Then the new Coke fiasco happened. After that, to my taste, Coke just didn't taste the same using corn syrup as a sweetener.
I was never a big Coke drinker (i'm not a big fan of colas in general) but that pretty much did it - no more Coke for me.
My friends thought that I was crazy because I could the taste the difference between suger and corn syrup and they couldn't.
I'm glad I'm not alone in this.
