I got upset at first when I happened to turn into the last 15 minutes of the ceremony on the Canadian channel. I got mad because I thought the American channels should be showing it. Then I realized that, yes indeed, channel 2 showed it at 8:00 pm. It had to please the masses of primetime viewing. And I agree with you, Soyeon, it was very touching and beautiful, as it always is.

stupid stupid media

All I wanted to do was watch the opening ceremony of the olympics. But no. Our stupid media has to talk about security and terrorism for the first half-hour. And I do not want to look at Katie Courick...I want to see the athletes and the ceremony.

dream

i dreamed that i was on campus and it was winter. i left my class early to go get my mom a christmas present from a store down elmwood that i could walk to. on my way back to campus, i couldn't find my car for a long time. i found one that was exactly like my car, but with a different license plate. then i found another car that was a silver neon that wasn't my car but had my license plate on it. someone had tried to steal my car by switching the plates, ut then they never drove it anywhere. i didn't know what to do because it was winter and getting dark, so i got into the car that was mine with the wrong plate. i was driving around campus in circles trying to remember the phone number for UPD. i never remembered it.

that's right next door to where i live. i have always noticed that there are cops and ambulences just randomly sitting there at all hours of the day. the cops are always inside at the tim horton's.

ignorance is not always bliss

I have lived the last 21 years of my life never knowing this fact. Why did my high school teachers never reveal this information to me? Why did they let me go on to the point where I would tell my boyfriend he was full of crap for saying this is true? :(

Yeah, they sent me a photo of "my car." The car is dark, and mine is silver. Also, there is a letter that could either be N or M and a number that could either be 3 or 8, so...yeah. One would think, that after typing all the license plate into the computer to find out who owns it, they would read the description of the car and realize that it wasn't mine. Also, the car in the picture has a black license plate holder and mine is silver with red dragons, so...I'm sending them proof, photos of my car, a letter from my father testifying that I was in [size=l]Albany[/size] on that date and a photocopy of the program from the wedding I was attending at the time when I supposedly ran a red light in Manhattan

this morning i was so tired 8* that when my alarm went off at 7:15, i didn't turn it off, because i thought (e:floppydonkey) would do it. i also thought it was 4:45 and time for him to get up, not me....but that had already happened and i forgot.

kind of amusing...

glad to know i am getting a fine for $50 for running a red light in Manhattan on June 26th, even though I have never ever ever driven in Manhattan...ever. but it's ok, all i have to do is send them "adequate proof" that it wasn't me, including a photo of the back end of my car.
