Perfection
Always wondering if this decision is the best
Unable to conquer the past
So things I change just to maintain
The illusion is always the same
Sometimes I think that this will be the day
The one where I'm honest with myself
To see the things that others see in me
I'm not perfect but I am damn good
Perfection is something that I am
Or so I tell myself in an attempt to hide the pain
My mind, my body, the mistakes I've made...
Just perfect, or so I say
