A busy few weeks...
Phew!
Our big estate sale's over - just about everything sold - lots of people want to buy the tavern.
It's been a busy few weeks.
(e:leetee) was a star - she is an amazingly hard worker, and lots of fun too.
Shame about the d*ckhead who didn't want to pay sales tax on a dollar item. He had a hissy fit and threw a dime at (e:leetee) - not very clever really. Wish we'd caught the problem sooner - we'd have had him arrested. Then he had the nerve to come back and was surprised that we asked him to leave. He won't be missed - all he ever came to our sales for was to buy old typewriters for a dollar each (his idea of pricing, not ours).
It was a pleasure to be working in the BlackRock area - BlackRock is a nice place.

the internet? what's that then?
As a committed technophobe I am more than a little surprised to find myself starting this online journal. I must admit though that without the help of the ever-present Ian none of this would be happening.
Ian and I were told about this web site by Leetee who also posts on here.
And, for now, that's all. I just wanted to dip my toe in the water. I will no doubt continue this when I can think of more to say......
