Push ups for the whole family
Category: working out

(e:Paul) downloaded a push app for his phone that trains you to do 100 push ups. Of course I can't let him do any excercise that I can't do so I downloaded it too. Now (e:terry) has it.

We'll all have the biggest, furriest moobs if we keep this up.

Hehe, you clearly don't know the size of my forearms. :)

:::link:::
The app itself isn't the greatest but it gets the job done.
I'm sure you can build up to 10 in no time!
tinypliny - 12/01/14 18:21
Dammit. Can you post the link to the app? I want to at least be able to do 10.

Shoveling the roof
Category: weather
Today I spent 7 hours shoveling my great aunt's roof in West Seneca. It really was insane how deep it was down there. The roads were basically canyons carved out of snow.

It was only a ranch house but the snow was 5 feet deep and half of it had turned to ice. My mom, uncle and sister all helped but we didn't even get to the garage by the end.

The best part was that you could jump off the roof into the biggest pile of snow before.

Did that pic of your sister go viral? I feel like I saw that on Facebook recently, maybe it's just a common pic?
tinypliny - 11/22/14 23:23
Wow - that is completely insane.

Bird food or snack?
Category: random

(e:Paul) and I were at Ace getting switches to work on the electrical. While we were there, we saw these bird treats. They were made of millet, seasame and corn syrup. Not for human consumption either (e:paul,59606) but I'd try it.

Historic Allentown
Category: allentown

I would have never thought this building on Franklin would be up for a redo but its being converted into apartments now. Is it time for the 60s to be historic?

It's so weird in an ugly way - kind of like a mini city court building. The plus of having an apartment in it is you won't have to see the outside. I could see it being super modern and cool on the inside though if they do it right.

That's the front facing Franklin.

The sides had almost no windows also, but they've started to cut out new ones for the apartments.
tinypliny - 11/21/14 11:31
Wow - no windows. What direction does that windowless facade face?
