Soup night
Category: food
(e:yesthatcasey) and I have been trying to pick up cooking again by making dinner with (e:terry). This week we made burritos on Tuesday, and a creamy potato vegetable tonight.

I think now that I'm limited to how much overtime I work I should be able to make dinner more. I want to be a much better cook. Chopping skills have improved, ask Terry.

We made a creamy cheesy potato kale soup tonight. :-)

Wow yumm
I want ;-p

Cooking is seriously the easiest and the most fun thing in the world... if you have the time. If you even think you don't have time, it becomes a chore. It's all about psychology, you have to make time to think you have time.

Days off
Category: work
I've been off for almost a week now, in between the end of my contract and the start of my full time job at Roswell. I thought I would have actually tried and taken the time off, unlike my last break - but I've been working on other programming projects instead. Today I finally found out I start on Monday. Woop. I'm super pumped to see how this goes.

Being home during the day is pretty boring, since I'm the only one off, so today I went and worked at (e:terry)'s office.

At least it's been snowy - I don't feel like I'm burning sunlight.

Heh, you start on the grand week of holidays :)

Finally snowed
Category: weather
We don't have the 7 feet that the southtowns do but we finally got some. Now that I don't have to commute 20 miles through it I find snow much cooler again. Linwood and Allentown especially look so peaceful in the snow. Everything is so muffled and I love seeing so much fewer cars.

Totally looks like a manageable amount. I can't imagine what 7 ft would be like though. It was never that bad in all my years in Buffalo.

Sorry not sorry, Dj Lulu Buffalo
Category: buffalo
aka Laura Robinson.
Don't cross (e:paul). Not without a web presence.

I think the title could be even more specific. For example:

DJ Lulu has no qualms overcharging customers. A poor business attitude adds to the non-existent charms of this avoidable DJ.

Court Street bridge
Category: rochester
Today we continued our tour with a vosit to tbe court Street bridge, where Rochester used TK have a subway run across the river. Now its a creepy, debris filled cave. So cool. I'm not one for most grafitti but the kind in there was so well done.

In the bridge you can climb on all sort of walls and look out over downtown. The car traffic of the bridge echoes above you. The further you go, the darker and drippier the cave gets. I feel like so many awesome events could happen in here.

It reminds me of the Buffalo downtown tunnels that I still want to visit. anyone know a good entrance?
