30 for 30 and curtain up
Category: art
Friday we headed down to Brian's 30 for 30 event for Squeaky Wheel. He video dj'ed for 30 hours, a world record (hopefully) in honor of Squeaky Wheel's 30th anniversary. (e:terry) volunteered - (e:paul) and I had to be there also from 12-4am.

Stinky the wino came too

Outside Curtain up was happening. I always thought it was an old people thing your parents did, but it actually seemed like an awesome street party. They had kettle corn, performers, a weird puppet show - I haven't seen that many people on Main Street since before the square moved.

The squeaky wheel event was at Cowork Buffalo on Main. They had these cute little bead buffaloes everywhere.

Terry and I went back for the end the next night. Brian made it without sleep. The videos he were playing got kind of creepy at the end (people on fire, screaming, mental patients etc).

Buffalo sunsets

Sunsets in the fall are absolutely crazy. I wish my camera could do them justice.

I've heard before coal pollution from rust belt powerplants makes our sunrises and sets so pink. I wonder if that's true .

Nice photos. Lake Erie sunrises are pretty awesome too. Always makes me think of the lyrics Chrissie Hynde wrote for the Pretenders' song, Day After Day, "Way up in the sky. Over the city and lake erie..."

Life alert
Category: paul
Paul gets ads in the mail for a type of life alert. I think that's a few decades off at least, but I don't think he'd even consider it unless it was on his Android wear watch. OK Google, I've fallen and I can't get up!

Creepy bathroom
Category: work
For a while in our building at work the creepy shower in the men's bathroom was boarded up, and had a huge hole punched in the wall. Now its taped off and you can't use it because of asbestos. Should it have been closed off this whole time? How ironic would it be getting mesothelioma at a cancer hospital.

Music is art
Category: dancing
After Tour de Farms, we headed to music is art with (e:xandra). First I had to go with my mom to let out this horse of great Dane. It was a little terrifying because he could jump so that he was taller than me.

I met up with everyone at music is art for the end. I couldn't tell if the music the DJ played was actual 90s dance or it was from hipsters. We saw Masumis friend Liz and Phi there, before (e:Steve) met with us. it was an awesome time.
