We rented a giant Ford SUV to go camping, and carry all our friends and our things down to Brushwood. While I'm sure it was more efficent than taking multiple cars, it was my worst nightmare to be in it.
(e:paul) took right to it. Air conditioned seats, satellite radio porn and 15 miles per gallon. America, fuck yeah. It runs on freedom and a bald eagle's tears.
tinypliny - 06/26/14 12:33 I think that might be my upstairs neighbour broadcasting.
paul - 06/26/14 08:52 I still can't believe there is porn radio.

Bikes at the square Category: thursdays
You know its a good thing when you can't find a bike parking spot. (e:Paul), (e:terry), (e:heidi), (e:dianne) and I all rode down to catch the end of moe.
They sounded decent but I'm sure it would have been even better if we as high as the crowd was.

Bier auf dem Kopf Category:
random
It's easier to balance beers on your head than you'd think. I have a bumpy head and I could do it.
tinypliny - 06/20/14 19:22 So who doesn't have a bumpy head... and wow, you reallly look different there!

More food Category: cooking
(e:terry) and I adapted a recipie for spicy potatoes out of the Indian food book. It used potatoes, dried chilli, peppers, onions, garlic and some cumin. Our ratio was a little off - too much potato and not enough spice - but if you scraped some of the chili seeds off the bottom of the pan it added enough heat. He also cooked up some mushrooms to go with it.
The view from the backyard while we were cooking.
tinypliny - 06/20/14 19:27 Oh and serve it with raw chopped red onions and cilantro! Throw some chickpeas in there... and maybe some fried paneer too and grate pepper over it.
tinypliny - 06/20/14 19:26 add a bunch of thai chillies in there and some jalapenos!
tinypliny - 06/20/14 19:25 How come new posts from you appear randomly in between other older posts?
I scroll and suddenly whoa, I am like, "I didn't see THAT before!"
tinypliny - 06/20/14 19:24 As a rule of thumb, for all western "Indian" cook books, double the spices and triple the peppers and add a 3rd more salt.
Wait why are you cooking from a cookbook???!

Sprouted grapefruit Category: plants
I was eating this giant grapefruit at work today, when I noticed it tasted awful. I got to the middle and found all these sprouted seeds. I planted one at home. Maybe we'll be growing grapefruits 10 years from now?
I think that might be my upstairs neighbour broadcasting.
I still can't believe there is porn radio.
