Monday (e:paul), (e:terry) and I went out to Dyngus day celebrations with Emily and Lindsay.
We headed to the main area outside of the Central Terminal. Note for the future: you probably can find a wrist band in the trash heap/ground. I guess it's for the Central Terminal so maybe a good cause?
Although it came up on google - Paul didn't think so - (e:paul,38839)
The polka band was awesome in a weird way. I can't picture dancing to that music any other time but it was a good time. (e:Paul) got hit on by a married man, we found a ground beer, the weather was perfect and the crowd was so sloppy-energetic.
It does seem a little weird that the whole region flocks to the city's most forgotten neighborhood just once a year to get loud and drunk, and then never comes back. I wonder how the residents feel about it?
Afterwards Emily left but we all headed to DBGB's. The was free food but it was only sausage and pasta - blech. We danced a little more before walking home actually just at midnight so I got to sleep.
Prost! (don't know what poles say)
The only polish person got pussy willowed
Someone was flying this helicopter with a camera on it - I want to fly one
Some girl and her pink flamingo
I want to post this one picture of Lindsay but she'd kill me.

Weekend of birthdaysCategory: birthdays
After the programming job, (e:paul), (e:terry) and I rode our bikes over to Sameer and (e:yesthatcasey) for Sameer's birthday party. The party was amazing and so was the paneer masala, this lemon angel-food style cake, and the company. I met a few of (e:Paul)'s coworkers.
Afterwards, (e:flacidness) and his cousin came over to hang out with Terry, while (e:paul) fell asleep in front of the fire. I headed out to Hardware for Catherine's birthday. It was some artvoice thing that night, and it was so packed with bros we didn't stay very long.
Carrie, Lindsay and I got some Lloyd's. My burrito was so hot it made me start crying. I had to stop at 7-11 for water. We were hung out at Lindsay's but we accidently woke up her mom.
Saturday night (e:xandra) came over to celebrate her birthday. (e:czarkasms) brothers even came over. It was a good time but I was so tired, I had to take a napchen pretty early.
Paul and I left for a bit to take (e:Mike) home after his daydrinking ended with a tireslashing.

CSV WriterCategory: programming
Friday night (e:paul) and I finished a quick PHP script for Meredith and one of her clients. Basically she wanted to call a script that took a specific SQL query and have the results placed in a CSV file, with a log of successes and failures.
Writing the initial version of the script was straight forward logic-wise, although I did have some trouble connecting to a Azure MSSQL server. After the database was changed to a MySQL database, it worked perfectly.
Then I sat down with Paul and we worked on making it object oriented, fully commented and documented, completely abstracted and reusable. It was really satisfying to take something simple like that and flesh it out fully. The auto-PHPdocs are really cool. I've gotten paid for programming jobs before but that was probably the cleanest job I've worked on.
I really want to work on more freelance type scripting jobs now that I have a better idea of how to setup a good workflow.

Easter dinnerCategory: holiday
Easter dinner was amazing. I went home to my parents, where we had so many friends and relatives over.
There was a bunch of delicious Lebanese food like taboleh and spinach pies. We had cake to celebrate 314 years of birthday.
My mom got me an easter basket - Ill try and keep the candy addiction away.

Premature liver spotsCategory: health
What is this? I don't know. Liver spots? Huves? these spots were not here before. (e:tinypliny) where are you?

Nope, nothing! They're slowly fading, or at least it looks like it to me. So hopefully it was just some weird allergy - maybe from cleaning out the moldy garage?

Any fever to go along with them? Nausea? Headache? Loss in hunger?
If the answer to all the above is no, most likely they are superficial allergic reactions to something new (or maybe be even a blast from a past re-exposure) in your environment. If the answer to even one of the above is true, then I need to know more. :-)

I first saw them about 5 days ago. The day I noticed them I felt a little itchy and hivey but it went away quickly and these spots were never itchy themselves. They're the same temperature.
They actually seem to be fading compared to this picture, so maybe it was flukey?

When did you first see them? Are they itchy? When you place the back of your hand on them do they feel warmer or cooler or the same temp as the rest of skin around the place?

Sameer seems to have lost a ton of weight. Is that right?
