Body Worlds Photo
Category: body
They yelled at me but I still got one pic. I hate places where you can't take pictures. I honestly would not have gone if I knew you couldn't. I am sure the museum security cams are taking pictures of me the whole time.

24 Linwood Bathroom Remodel Continued
Category: bathroom
We continued picking out stuff for the bathroom. We ended up going all with oil rubbed bronze. Everything came from Signature Hardware They seem to have some realy quality product. I guess we will find out when it gets here.

Our tub has oil rubbed bronze feet but is otherwise the same.
image

I also got this style tub faucet with handle.
image

We got both kinds of showers so that we have both the regular shower head, the body jets, the rain can shower and the handle shower which makes it easy to clean the tub according to everyone I talked with about it.

image

The one thing is I can't stand the plasticy shower header for the regular shower while everything else is metal so I also got matching replacement oil rubbed bronze shower headers.

image

Looking back on it, I almost wish I went with an asian themed bathroom instead of a marble and porcelain victorian style one. Then I could have gotten this Japanese soaking tub which is currently on sale

This is the vanity we got but in brown instead of black.

Cereal Maximus
Category: food

I have been taking cereal to the max recently. Its like the new version of my noodle bowls but for the morning. It makes me wonder if there is potential for a fancy cereal restaurant. Or if I someday open the noodle bar of my dreams that I could during a morning shift with breakfast bowls.

This is awesome. You could really have a thing going with this.
tinypliny - 09/16/13 15:12
What all is in this cereal? I see cHOCOLAte! bananas, corn(?) puff? milk, raspberries? some oats, what else?
mike - 09/15/13 11:49

Clams and Polenta At Madonna's on Allen
Category: food
After the farm tour we went to madonnas for the fried artichoke hearts. Seeing all the artichokes on the farm tour made me have to have them.

The food at Madonna's is always so delicious. Last night they also had a clams and sausage over Polenta dish that was amazing.

Tour de Farms
Category: biking

We rode our bike 30 miles close to darien lake for the Tour De Farms. Its stops at a bunch of farms as you tour the inner city and country side. At the end their was delicous farm food and wine and beer. Its amazing how extensive the urban farms are. I want one but I think without slave labor it would go the same way as the pears that the torotise and the bees all ate. It did inspire me to replant swiss chard for the fall.

(e:Joe) and (e:terry) look adorable in that pic. He should get yellow or green helmet and the primaries would be covered!
tinypliny - 09/16/13 15:13
WOW. I wish I could have ridden with you - not that I could keep up with 30 miles. :-) But the produce pics are SO amazing... maybe I could have made it if I dreamed about all the produce upfront.
lilho - 09/14/13 21:24
That's not a bike ride, it's a journey. :)
