the cottage through the years

so this post should include my baby pictures here at our cottage but I can't find them right now so that will be a separate entry. These are not in order and not great quality as they are pictures of pictures from my Grammy's albums.

We all have a lifetime of memories of this place. I know there will be someday that i won't be able to go back to my grandparents house and that will be hard too. The pictures just speak for themselves.

It was a magical place and I'm happy to have the memories, fortunate to have the memories, even if they sometimes make me sad. We always moved around so never had a solid place besides the cottage, there is my Grandparents but I always knew that one day my grandparents would be gone and we wouldn't have that anymore, we just assumed the cottage would stay cause it had survived the big flood of 72 and a tornado in the 90s.

That looks like a magical place. You'll always have your memories of that place.

I feel the same way about the house I grew up in. I still dream about it. It's weird to not be able to go walk in it.

work is killing me. i felt better after spin class but there just isn't enough hours in the day to fully unwind. i told Eileen it would be a miracle if I didn't drink tonight and I didn't so I guess miracles really do happen. I even went into 711 to get stamps and didn't buy beer.

I fixed it so the video works, it's pretty funny, prolly the most fun video I have up on youtube. (e:terry) humping the chimney.

The second shot is amazing. Some of the high up spots were taken from my shoulders. P.S. when we click on the video link it says it is private.

Another year passed without falling off the roof although Alex fell through the ceiling. Its a thing now.

this bamboo yard seems like an invasive species nightmare.... Maybe they have it contained somehow?

i notice bamboo a lot more around buffalo, these days. I thought maybe there was a law about introducing invasive species by planting outdoors? maybe i thought wrong... I wonder what bamboo would push out...?

My Parents had what was called Fake Bamboo and it will take over the entire yard if you let it... not sure how you stop it something with black plastic ????? ; ......
