Strangely the coop had 5 crawdads for $1.44. It was such a random item. They made the noodles taste pretty yummy like baby lobsters.

The wind blew the recycling bin lid into the window until it smashed so today it was time for a rebuild. Its like it wanted to recycle the window. I usually keep extra glass and a glass cutter on hand because we have so many window issues but I was out of glass so I headed over to Ace on summer by main.

They cut me a new piece of glass for $8 but unfortunately it was a couple millimeters off and I had to cut in anyways.

I really want to open a noodle bowl restaurant someday. This time I got sweet potato starch clear noodles at the asian grocer on Sheridan. They are so interesting like the mung bean noodles but a sweet potato taste. I mixed in a little sesame oil.

I then paired them with pink American shrimp from Florida and mushrooms lightly fried in peanut oil with garlic cloves, zucchini, sugar snap peas, chopped romain lettuce, a hard boiled egg, cherries, french fries and ruby red grapefruit.

We celebrated my birthday last night and today because on my actual birthday on Tues I am scheduled for a root canal ;( I totally regret the years of non stop candy now.

We had a 5 meat meal. Meatballs, pork, sausage, roasted chicken, octopus. It was delicious.

There were two cakes. A chocolate one with a giant fortune cookie topper and a lemon cake.

I got a nice plum colored blazer and black corduroy pants from my parents, the rest of the Simply Design scalloped green bowl collection with serving spoon and fork from (e:mike), a herring bone dressy outdoor coat from (e:terry). I also got myself an adruino and raided my parents old phine collection to grab some sensors and outputs. Its amazing how many electronic components you can get out of old electronics. I wish I hadn't recycled all mine now.













Last night we headed to chocolate bar from some creme brule and hot chocolate. This is why my teeth are dying.
