Busy boy basra
Category: pets
B is gone and Basra has to dig his own holes. Who knew he could dig like this? I mean he dug a small tunnel in 2006 but this is full on brick moving and mountain building. He seriously must be bored or angry now that he can't rape all day.

Silo City
Category: art
We headed up to silo city last night for the art shows. The art was really good, from photography to installation. They had multiple grain silos open with exhibits in each silo, as well as, music in the middle of the open area between them.

We escaped into the darkness as for a bit and found a silo which had the bottom of the funnel part sawed or rusted off. We put our heads up inside and the sound was incredible. A giant confined space, echo chamber, stories high and probably 40 ft in diameter. With (e:terry) and (e:enknot) singing it was so awesome. Even clapping was awesome.

The only bad part was all of the rust in the air made my eyes and lungs hurt. Especially the first time we were in there and (e:terry) thought it was funny to be smashing on the metal funnel. Every time he did it prices of rust fell from the ceiling.

I had (e:terry) capture the sound on my phone

::DOWNLOAD SOUND::

All in all it was a great time. I wish I could have taken more pics but it was too dark or I was having too much fun most of the time.

The sound is so creepy ... Sounds Horror moviesque .. Some of it is like when I church and demons descend but in a cool sounding way...

3ga: kind of like an mp3, after a fashion, sanitized for lawsuit-free use in cellphones that use 3g networks (3G Audio, get it?) Do you have the original 3ga file? Can I have it?
heidi - 09/09/12 19:28
Alex suggested it would be the coolest/scariest location for a haunted house ever. I agree.
paul - 09/09/12 19:23
I added the media file as an mp3. Had to convert from a 3ga, whatever that is - using ffmpeg but it still sounds pretty good. The player is no working but you can download and listen.

Kaydara Noodle Bar Continued
Category: food
I like it all, but lets start with my favorite part.

For dessert we had a ginger creme brule.

They ran out of the prawns (e:paul,56714) so for dinner, I switched to the beef udon bowl. It was amazing. I also tried the Brussel sprouts on the recommendation of my friend Julie. They were so perfect. I never had brussel sprouts cut up like that before. They were divided up into a plate of perfectly cooked individual leaves.

I was also amazed at the variety of supplies in the bathroom, but why a nail clipper?

My mustache is getting out of control.

I cooked with eggplant (from the farmers market) for the first time today. I made a chicken & eggplant goulash, it was most excellent.

The Seneca Zoo With Zooey and Kayla
Category: zooey
We traveled on down to the Seneca Zoo in Rochester for the day on Friday. The zoo is pretty nice but their giant tortoise had less grazing space that mine which is half the size.

Afterwards we ate at Dinosaur BBQ. We wanted it so bad we endured an hour and a half wait. Luckily we spent most of it in the park. If only the Ho sisters could have been there.
