are everywhere. Frankly, they look kind of hideous to me. Like someone sewed up an old tattered mattress coverlet en masse. ugh

Bring on the white, because I can counter it with ORANGE.
Hmm.. I just noticed this, but why is the text on the spice theme white? It is green on green in the plant theme.

That is orange prejudice! I think this orange: #FFB273 would be readable on this orange, #FF7400, no?

Maybe god won't cancel your flight but will cause your untimely death by flying you out in unsafe conditions?

This is why People need to go back to trains.... Or maybe I just love the Show Hell on Wheels to much.... Not sure how they do it now if they send a special car ahead but snow doesn't stop a train.... Well it doesn't really stop planes it is the ice on the wings......

Who +1'ed snow?!Category: buffalo
Behold the stark evidence about who is responsible.

What do you think? It said you +1'ed snow!
{I think you +1'ed (e:strip) at some point (and you are not surprisingly all over my contact lists and my chat lists), so it flags you every time I search for something you have blogged about here. Pretty cool, if you ask me. I get to read your past thoughts on random crazy topics.}

Shostakovich & SviridovCategory: music
I am back to my non-stop waltz listening mode.
I found this slightly lower key version so earthy after years of listening to the über-flashy Rieu version. :)
And this is a waltz by the lesser known Sviridov. It sounds so very similar to Shostakovich's Valse No. 2, but it is faster in pace and more energetic!
PS: The Sviridov waltz video is especially for (e:Paul). :)

First one I listened to as I read a few things on facebook..... It sounds like one of those machines a bit or I should say that those music machines sound like it....
Watching the second one now..... It does fit today if we lived in the country or old time USA!

It feels like they started off as homemade and are now a small industry. They may be cool etc. but they remind me of these stinky little "jholas" that travelling villagers carry back home. They are often made out of mattress coverlets that are old and have been dismantled. Maybe someone countryside hopping in Northern India and brought this back, and they are now part of some urban-western east-revival fashion thing... but ugh, I just can' t get past what they remind me of.
Do you think they are home made?
