The mobile 3g internet speed in Las Vegas is so bad. I think it must just vr too many people on an overtaxed network. Its so bad, its unbelievable. In Buffalo I gdt around 2-4mbps, i. vegas I am often getting a fraction of a tenth of 1mbps like 0.08mbps. I mean its down right unusable in so many places. By the Rio I can't barely even get one bar and calls don't come through to our hotel room half the time. I tried to call
(e:terry) in the room when I was outside and he didn't get the call for 45 minutes, after I came back.
Then last night we went to the AT&T store and the new Samsung Skyrocket has LTE. I took a picture of the speedtest results on the skyrocket with LTE vs the HSPDA data below captured at the same time on my galaxy sii.
Test Date: Nov 25, 2011 5:52:13 pm
Connection Type: Hspa
Server: Las Vegas, NV
Download: 0.08 Mbps
Upload: 0.10 Mbps
And here is the skyrocket on LTE.
Do you mean to say that even with a rotten connection speed some connection tyoe called "LTE" does better than some current connection type called "HSPDA"??
What is an LTE? What is an HSPDA? What is this post about? This mere mortal would like to know? Is this how greek sounds like?
