Freemont Street
Category: vegas
We had a couple hours to kill this morning so we went to go see Terry's old high school next to freemont street. We had to get our parking validated so we went to a casino where I lost a bunch of times. I tried to make it up by betting $5 in one spin and lost that to so I quit. I figured I only spent as much as invalidated parking so its like I got to bet the parking money.

The necklaces and the wheel of fortune game reminded me of (e:Mike). I wish he was here.

I can't believe how close they blew off nuke bombs. The picture with the mushroom cloud in the background of ceremony St is nuts.

Can't imagine the bombing but if you think about it ..... It makes sense.... Way out in an open area...... Maybe they know what way the wind blows..... Also guessing that most of the people in Vegas Don't live there ..... It is kinda like out west so maybe not many questions are asked.....

the bombing thing is so creepy... did people get sick from this? ahhh... can't wait to see you guys!

I still can't believe they actually conducted nuclear tests (that they were going to use as weapons) right outside the city. Totally unbelievable.

Drag Show
Category: vegas
How funny is it that this advertisement for a drag show at a casino included a man dressed up as Michael Jackson.

In Terms of MJ and some others I think where most of the problems come in isn't the fame.... It is that people like Britney and Lindesay never get a real childhood... Yes one can perform and do TV shows and things like that... But you need to play like a kid plays and go to a real school and things like that... But what I think also happens is since there is this talent or star thing no one tells them no or just does what they want... So at some point they lose it a little bit......

Ah no pictures from inside ;( Yeah a admit the blonde with the cow boy hat I couldn't tell

poor freaky man. I wish he hadn't go all nuts. His music was pretty good. I wonder if all these celebrities (including whitney houston) intentionally do themselves in.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Category: food
Because I am allergic to animals and everyone has them, we went out to dinner at a smokehouse in the most upscale plaza I have ever seen. The food was delicious.

Afterwards, we headed to the attached Casino because everything else was closed. They had an Irish pub with Jamieson beer pong tables. Terry and his mom (with me as sub) beat Alex and Spencer by one beer. I wish I wasn't allergic so we could just hang out easier.

The Beer Pong (don't play and don't do beer) in a casino seems pretty cool....
paul - 11/25/11 14:23
It was a pumpkin pie milk shake.
tinypliny - 11/25/11 09:12
We just walked the city and spied on various families having their massive dinners through the windows. As sad as that sounds, it was massive fun. :)
tinypliny - 11/25/11 09:07
Oooh, what kind of milkshake-ice-cream was it? I love the idea of the cinnamon-stick straw! Going to Sullivan's bakery today to worship at the altar of the no-knead technique bread maker!
