Coppa CharcuterieCategory: food
We toured the new food market that will be opening in in the old horsefeathers location.
I was excited to see a stand for Coppa. I find thin slices of salted meat so delicious but I don't eat much of them because I generally avoid nitrates. Its one of the reasons I love procuitto because its just cured with salt.

Full Beard?Category: hairy
Should I just grow a full beard? I never let the sides and bottom grow in for fear of looking homeless but I am so curious how it would look. I think the best approach might be to shave short and let it all grow out together.

I myself am folically challenged in the beard realm...just don't have the genes for it.
I can, however, grow a smart looking soul-patch.

Go for the ZZ Top look or that guy on Giants who is on the taco bell ads... Or you could do the metal band thing and braid it ? I myself can't stand that middle ground so never done it....

Another Giant PumpkinCategory: holidays
We made our annual trip to the giant pumpkin farm. This year Cindy came with us. (e:terry) got a great picture of us crunched in the back. This years pumpkin weighs less as I carried it up the stairs alone. Last years was full of water, which made it heavier and ultimately lead to its early demise as it fitted from the inside.

The new black current plantCategory: food
To add to my collection of Berry plants, I bought a black current bush at the pumpkin farm for $4.99. I love currents and you barely see them at the market.
Also, although the loufa plant finally blossomed. I don't think its going to make it :(

Currants are very much like black grapes, aren't they? How will you protect these through the winter? Do they survive on their own?
